My husband and I were doing Christmas shopping in the area, so we stopped into Phen Thai for an early dinner. We had been here when it was the previous business, so it was nice to see the remodeling they’ve done, and I loved the hand painted murals on the walls. The husband and wife that own the place were so friendly and attentive! We tried several dishes and all were delicious. A standout for us was the hot pot, usually that turns into a chaotic experience for us, but not this time! Quality dishes and a laid back vibe. My husband even got hot spice tolerance tested with one of their sauces, which is always the sign of a good restaurant for us! A Bethel gem that we would definitely come back to!

Delicious! We got the chicken Thai fried rice and veggie drunken noodles, which were both very flavorful and great portion size for the price. The service was lovely and it’s nice and cozy. Perfect food to warm you up during the winter!

This Thai restaurant is absolutely delicious! From the moment you walk in, the aroma of fresh herbs and spices lets you know you’re in for something special. Every dish tastes authentic and thoughtfully prepared. The Pad Thai was perfectly balanced — not too sweet, not too tangy — with fresh ingredients and amazing flavor. The curry was rich, creamy, and had just the right level of spice.
The portions were generous, the presentation was beautiful, and everything came out hot and fresh. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made the entire experience even better. If you’re craving flavorful, comforting Thai food made with care, this place is a must-try. I’ll definitely be coming back!

What a great place! Dined in and it was a great experience. Comfy seating. Calm ambience. Extremely kind server! Delicious fresh food. Highly recommend their Golden Crab (essentially crab Rangoon), chicken pad Thai, drunken noodles and Thai tea! Price was expected for a new place – tasted like high quality ingredients! Left saying “see you soon” because we will definitely be back!

I’ve been to this new restaurant in Bethel twice, but it isn’t as good as other Thai restaurants in the area. Ordered the Tom Yum Fried Rice with fried egg roll and steamed dumplings. The steamed dumplings were tasty, but dipping sauce was very salty. The egg roll was very crispy, however the filling seemed overcooked and somewhat mushy. Tom Yum Fried rice was disappointing, didn’t taste like the Tom Yum flavoring you would expect. Nice red and green peppers and onion. No flavor of lime, not at all with any “heat”, used my own Siracha sauce. No cilantro, no taste of ginger or galangal or lemongrass and no lime. The fried rice is already off the lunch menu, but they agreed to make it. They have been open for a brief amount of time, so I’m surprised they would already remove an item from the lunch menu. I’m hoping it will improve.

This is a lovely little Thai restaurant with great food. I was delighted to see they had Khao Soi on the menu – not a common menu item and my absolute favorite Thai dish. The crab Rangoon is also the best in the area – loaded with real crab and so flavorful. Service was also A+. If you like Thai, you need to try this place!

Such a great addition to downtown Bethel! I’ve popped in a few times for lunch and have been slowly working my way through the menu. My go-to is the Pad See Ew—one of my fave Thai dishes there—but today I switched it up and tried the Crispy Duck Fried Rice recommended by the owner. It was packed with flavor, and I devoured it. So good. Can’t wait to go back for more!
