The highlight of my evening was the rack of lamb (picturef), cooked to absolute perfection, tender, juicy, and bursting with flavor, with a rosemary infused crust that elevated every bite. My meal began with the salmon tartare starter, a delightful symphony of fresh, velvety salmon, accented with zesty citrus and delicate spices, a true testament to Da Vinci’s commitment to quality ingredients.
The service was nothing short of exceptional. The staff was attentive, warm, and genuinely invested in making our evening special. The atmosphere, with its sophisticated yet cozy vibe, made it the ideal setting for a memorable night out with my wife, brother-in-law and sister-in-law.
Da Vinci Ristorante is a gem that exceeds expectations, offering world-class Italian fare and hospitality that leaves you eager to return. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a culinary experience that’s as heartfelt as it is exquisite.
Every dish was thoughtfully prepared and served, and absolutely delicious. Attentive and kind staff – Water and wine glasses were never empty. Shout out to the lovely bartender who made us delicious drinks!
My party had an incredible time being well taken care of by Lavi and his staff. Above and beyond type of hospitality, no request was impossible for them.
Highly recommend for any special event. They will make you feel truly celebrated. It was an honour dining at Da Vinci. Big thank you to the team.
It is a quaint little restaurant in the heart of downtown. The food was very tasty, the presentation was very pretty, the portions were good, the service was fast and efficient (although the attention we received was overkill – the waiter, although very kind, checked in on us literally every 5 minutes)
We were disappointed with the risotto as we expected a thicker consistency, but it was too ‘soupy’ in our humble opinion.
The resto serves the cutest complimentary appetizer (first picture- we were 2 so there were 2 of each item).
I do recommend if you don’t mind spending $$ as the food is excellent, however, the prices are over what I am willing to spend for dining out and so would not return (A bottle of Perrier is $12, my 3 shrimp appetizer is $48, etc)
Bread, oil, petite toast bruschetta and olives were served while we looked at the menu.
Many classic selections to choose from. I had to have the pasta Bolognese, Which was very tasty. My colleague had the mushroom risotto which was also very delicious. Many protein options including A5, shanks, tomahawks, etc.
Great ambience. Was not loud and were able to hold a conversation all night. The host and their team were very attentive and courteous. Ended the night with lemon cello on the house which was a very nice touch by the host. Thank you for taking care of us!
Will definitely come back when I return.
We were seated for about 45 minutes for what was supposed to be a three-course meal, which made the entire experience feel rushed and poorly thought out. The portion sizes were shockingly small for the price paid. I genuinely couldn’t help but laugh when I saw one Brussels sprout and one carrot on my plate.
This was meant to be a special evening, and I was genuinely embarrassed for choosing your restaurant for Valentine’s Day. The experience did not reflect the level of quality or care one would expect.
The beet salad was an excellent starter. Loved the mix of sweet and sour and savory from the beets, balsamic and the candied nuts.
We shared the Tomahawk steak. Which was excellent, though I have had better for the price. The sides were tasty as well.
We ordered this steak with a seafood pasta. Great dish, added acid to the meal and was loaded with seafood including a crab claw and half a lobster tail.
All in all, great food and ambience. Service could be better. It seemed they were new at the job but what they lacked wasnt enough to ruin the meal.
