Prime rib was tough and not done to my asking (rare) it was not served either with a side of au jus something I’ve always seen in previous locations in Michigan. Just not good especially for the prices! Too steep too many staff members standing around and not educated enough to look busy at all. Drinks were also very weak and not right on first serve! Definitely had so much potential though I love working and managing bars such as these and I just hope they can keep it going long term

A diamond in the rough!! Great food, good service average prices but get more food than you expect. Fried chicken off the hook. The fried gizzards tossed in hot sauce is one of the bests!!! UPDATE: We went again last night Nov. 14th 2025. For our appetizer we got the fried mushrooms.My husband got the gizzards not tossed in hot sauce this time. I got the Mango burger. We sat at the bar and the lady next to me ended up being the Preparer for the food there. Her name is Sue and she was so awesome! She told me that everything is homade and full of love!!! Home cooking for sure. We loved everything we ate. Once again Sue thank you for great conversation and the love that you do!

I’ve been a patron of this restaurant since I was 10 years old. Through a few different owners and yet, still was a staple. Completely understand when times are tough with the economy, etc…but attention to detail should be the key to a successful business plan. Listen to the customer. Listen to the order and repeat it if necessary. The last (4) times I have been there I have ordered the exact same thing and every single time (to go) the order was wrong. Should I have checked the order before departure after the second instance, yes. I trusted that it was right. My fault.
They have lost key staff who made it their job to listen to the customer. Years I went without a single mistake and because of that, I gave them the benefit of the doubt.

My husband had the prime rib and he said it was the best he ever had and he gave me a bite and I have to agree, it was so tender and had a very good flavor. I had the shrimp dinner and the shrimp were huge and tasted wonderful. Everything was so good we will definitely go back and I told my daughter and her husband and they want to go there now so we will probably treat them to dinner there soon….

Had lunch on a Thursday, restaurant was basically empty. Our server was pleasant and attentive. The downside was I ordered the mac and cheese burger and the bun came out super burned. The actual mac and cheese was also very dry, whatever sauce was added to the noodles slid off or just was in a pool underneath my top bun (served on the side) which made it soggy also. The bacon cheese fries that we ordered were hot and crispy and pretty solid. I have been here previously at dinner time and had a relatively good meal (prime rib dinner), not sure I will be giving them another try though, at least not for lunch.

Restaurant was empty and after getting our food I can definitely tell why. The food is awful. We used to go here every Sunday but it’s totally different after it changed hands. Nothing good at all to say about the food. Our server was pretty good. But she didn’t seem proud to work there. Probably because she knows the low quality of the food. I’m surprised this place is still open. Won’t be back. Oh and to add on our booth seats were ripped and broken. There is no passion or care here.

For a dance hall restaurant, the atmosphere is typical. The place seems clean, although I haven’t been in the restrooms so can’t speak to that. The servers are friendly and the food is pretty good – prepared as ordered.

Great service and great food. They messed up my husbands prime rib order and corrected the mistake within 5 minutes. Food was delicious! And it was a fun atmosphere on Friday night with the live music.

We got to enjoy the bike nights they had this year and Hilliards brought the fun! The were well-staffed and the food was delicious. They were organized and had areas for the motorcycles and places for people to socialize outside! Great time and will be back!

Good little Country bar with food. They are known for their fried gizzards. We had onion petals for an appetizer. They were very good. Wife had a half pound of the gizzards. They were tasty. I had a burrito and it was good too. Looks like they have bands occasionally. We will go back. Service was very good.
