Will definitely go back!
As far as the rest of the visit let’s just say our server was too busy checking out puppies outside to be timely with anything.
We did ask for a minute to finish deciding on what to order, but it was 5 minutes later when he returned (and told us about the puppies). And to be clear the place was at maybe 25% capacity so was not busy.
Which leads to the next problem, it took a while for our food to be delivered and it was cold. My assumption was he was out checking the puppies again instead of servicing his customers. We get our food and the eggs Benedict are overcooked and my stuffed (if that is what you call it) French toast is barely warm.
As if that wasn’t bad enough he doesn’t even come over to check on us. I was in a hurry to get back to work so ate my barely warm French toast which was very blah. I finished and still no one came by. I then had to get up to go find our server so my wife can get her Benedict redone who I waved down in the kitchen area.
By the time he gets over to us we are done with the experience and ask for manager. He comes back and says the manager will be over. We look at the entry desk and she is just talking with a couple of employees. Takes another two minutes for her to finally come over.
We tell her what happened and she does the right thing by picking up our check and even telling us not to tip. And then provides us with a coupon for our entire family to try again.
And to make matters worse, this was my birthday breakfast (which we told the server). I took time out of work to try a new place and was rewarded with untimely service which while the meal was free, cost me double the cost of the meal in money not earned.
We’ll see how our future visit goes.
Our server was friendly and attentive without being overbearing, and the overall service was great.
Server spoke so softly that we couldn’t hear her. I had to coordinate the food order since she just stared at us. Asked for utensils after receiving food and was told it’s being washed with attitude like we were inconveniencing the server for asking. When the food came out another server came and said here is the omelet. We asked which kind since multiple people ordered that. She said
Ham and cheese with attitude. We said no one ordered that. She proceeded to walk away annoyed. Then we said we ordered sausage and cheese. She quickly turned around and said yeah that is what this is and slapped the plate on the table. We had family in town and were really looking forward to a nice brunch spot. The service we received was awful and embarrassing. I have never been treated like this at a restaurant before. If you want a nice brunch spot i recommend going elsewhere and passing on this place unless you want to be treated with attitude, an inconvenience and want horrible service. Please train staff better! The only person that had any customer service training was the host that sat us. It went downhill fast after that! We will not be back.
And they are not stingy with the OJ, the biggest glass I’ve ever seen, compared to other places.
It wasn’t very busy when I came in, which made for a peaceful dining experience. There was plenty of seating available—both booths and tables—so no wait, which is always a plus. I love places that serve breakfast all day, and being able to enjoy breakfast at lunchtime is my kind of treat.
I ordered the fajita omelette, subbed the potatoes for a fruit cup, and had wheat toast on the side. The food came out quickly, and everything was delicious. The omelette had great flavor, packed with veggies and just the right amount of seasoning. The fruit cup was super fresh, with a bright and colorful mix of oranges, strawberries, grapes, and bananas—a perfect complement to the meal.
The server was friendly and attentive, and the lively music playing in the background added a fun, upbeat touch to the meal.
The location is also a win—right next to Whole Foods in a shopping area full of new stores. It’s a welcome addition to the neighborhood and a great spot to stop for a relaxed, tasty meal any time of day. I’ll definitely be back!
