Tap 216 came through clutch after our fishing trip and listen… this place was a whole vibe
We pulled up at night and the energy was already there. Good music, people enjoying themselves, and it definitely had that lively college hangout feel without being chaotic. You can tell this is one of those spots students love, but it’s still welcoming enough for anybody just looking for good food and a fun atmosphere.
Now let’s talk about what really matters the food.
The wings? Flavorful, cooked right, and not skimpy.
The burgers? Solid. Juicy, filling, and exactly what you want after a long day outdoors.
And right before we left, it looked like a band was getting ready to perform, which tells me this is more than just a restaurant.. it’s somewhere you go to eat AND enjoy yourself.
If you’re looking for a laid back spot with good food, good music, and a crowd that knows how to vibe, Tap 216 is definitely worth checking out.

The food I’ve ordered has always been good and the portion sizes are very good. I’m not a HUGE fan that everything (that I’ve ever ordered) is priced à la carte. My husband thought there was a little too much bun on the bun-to-meat ratio for the hamburger he ordered, but he was impressed with the flavor (which is something!). I wish they’d hire just one extra server so that there isn’t such a long wait for refills, requests, or the bill.

This place surpassed my expectations. We are from a town 2 hours from Murray and we were going to be in town for a graduation. I called Tap 216 and asked if they could make a reservation for 11 people and they were more than happy to accommodate our large party. We were promptly seated when we arrived and had excellent service the entire time we were there, even tho they were busy. Our server took extra time to walk us through the menu and answer all questions. Our food came out quickly and was extremely delicious. Our favorite (not pictured) was the pretzel bites and beer cheese appetizer. We really appreciated Tap 216 in the role they played on a very special day. If you are looking for delicious food or need a place that accommodates large parties I’d highly recommended Tap 216.

I was hoping for a much larger selection of craft beers. The number of beers available via draft were nice, but I was searching for unique.
Nice spacious seating, not very busy for mid-afternoon. Another disappointment was they had not updated the availability of craft beers in Untapped, my go to app for ranking & capturing my beer adventures.
I will give it another try, perhaps on trivia night or when they have live entertainment.

This was our 1st time to visit Murray, KY and wanted to check out some local finds. We decided to tryTap 216 because of the reviews and they had live music on a Fri evening. Ethan Torsak was the performer and he did such an amazing job. Service was outstanding and the atmosphere superb. Only complaint is our pretzel bites and onion rings were overcooked in grease that needed to be changed and cod had no flavor or seasoning. However, we would visit this place again if ever back in the neighborhood just because of the atmosphere and service

Stopped in here for lunch on a Saturday. Was pretty empty. Has a great look to it, very clean, employees were friendly, food and beer were good. Had the spinach artichoke dip for an appetizer, I got the chicken club and an Irish Red beer, my husband had the bison burger.

Great view outside at MSU architecture. Food was awesome. We had the steak salad, nachos, Hawaiian pizza, and the SMS hot burger. Also tried a red beer on tap and their great ciders. Oh, and great bourbon!
