If you want a good old fashioned hamburger, cheeseburger or bacon cheeseburger this is the place to go. This is not fast food this is real food done in a timely manner but never hurried.
I don’t usually want a hamburger when I go out. Nor do I usually order a hamburger but I go here when I crave a hamburger.
I love, love, love the tater tots, it is a weakness of mine. I personally can not eat a order but I always try and I am sure most people could. When I take my mom we split an order and it is usually enough for both of us. But my husband can easily do his bacon cheese burger.
I have yet to try the ” tornado ” ice cream shake as I know I will not have room for it but I do giggle that in tornado alley a dessert is named that..

I ordered onion rings for over $4 and I had to pay another $1.60 to have them in my meal. All of the batter was off of them and the onions were burnt. I took them back and complained and they made me some new ones but made me feel like I was inconveniencing them. Staff cooking in the back were cussing very loudly to each other while myself and other customers we’re in the dining room. Very unprofessional and I won’t go back. This was on August 11 th about 8pm so that you can check your cameras per your response to my complaint that I made above.

Update… 6-11-2021…. The most horrible experience here ever… Sweet potato fries came out in a ball and burnt to oblivion, then the fish came out half raw… Stay away for your families health please… I beg you…this is their second attempt at my fries… Still burnt… Gave 1 star because I can’t leave 0 … Wow it’s gone downhill fast.

Working here from out of town and thought I would give this place a try. Great little place for burgers and fries, only complaint would be the buns, they seemed a little stiff and bland. Other then that, the service and food was very good!

This, and the location in Overland Park, are always a treat to go to. In full honesty, I couldn’t tell you much about the rest of the menu because I’ve always gotten the Kelley Burger, their most popular item. This is for good reason, it’s so amazing. The meat is juicy and flavorful, being cooked on the grill right in front of you. The ingredients are fresh, it probably had one of the most red tomato slices I’ve had on a burger. It is a very filling burger as well, so I always walk away happy. I give them only 4 stars because their fries are “meh.” But I highly encourage anyone to come here, and have one of the best burgers in the Kansas City.

Burger was ok. Had to remove the bacon from it because it looked like it hadn’t been cooked. Fries were soggy. Disappointed. Prices are decent if the food is good I guess.

We happen to be in the area and after a quick search decide to try this little joint out. Great little spot, good location, good service. The burgers are great, along with all the toppings, however their choice of bun over powers the flavor. The burger is a little messy, it’s old school and cooked fresh. Definitely worth the visit.
