This is the best pho in louisiana. Broth is perfect flavor, look at that color! They also give a lot of meat. Rice dishes are also good, I like the porkchop. Also the hidden gems are the salt and pepper calamari, salt and pepper chicken wings, and salt and pepper shrimp. The flavor for these dishes are called rang muoi in vietnamese. Service is nice and straight to the point, that’s how you know the food is good

12/16/24. Found our authentic Vietnamese restaurant in New Orleans. Tried so many other restaurants but none have the Viet authentic taste that we were searching for. Good food and price is nice too. Love the authentic Vietnamese ice coffee that they made individually with a phin filter. Definitely a place we will come when visiting NO.

The cashier is insanely rude. I would love to rate the food, but I didn’t get a chance to taste it. She barely acknowledged me and tapped at the paper menus. I pick up the menu to look at it, and she started sighing at me and keeps asking me what I want. So, obviously I left and went next door to Fiery Crab, which has much better customer service.

I don’t like leaving reviews like this but I have to. There was an Asian lady taking orders over the phone. She said 10 minutes it would be ready. I arrived at 10 minutes cause I was already driving. When I went to the back counter she was making my green tea drink. (In front of me she poured some in a cup and started drinking it.) Then she asked what was my order. It took 17 more minutes and was out of sauce for my order. It aeem like the order was put in when I arrived to the back of the restaurant where you place orders. The cup for the drink was a child size cup. I asked about the size of the cup and said, “That’s the only size!” The cup wasn’t even the average size that other places sell. I ordered an avocado bubble tea(tapioca balls) and 2 orders of spring rolls. I asked for grilled shrimp and when I arrives she said we only have broiled(not what I was told on the phone). The customer service is not well at all. Even the spanish guy in the back came to help me and she spoke to him so ruff/mean. I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant to no one.

First time I tried this restaurant, but I will never come back. The attitude of the cashier or owner is so poor. Instead of placing the receipt on the counter, she tossed it to the customer is unacceptable. When we asked for a to-go box, she said “You” then pointed her finger to the corner where the boxes were placed so we can grab by ourselves.The customer service is bad and the food isn’t great at all. Never again.
