Grabbed lunch today at this location. Service was quick and order was correct. Food was fantastic!! I frequent this location often as my son loves BBQ. I just order a pound and it will last a few days. It’s much better than the pre-packaged garbage at the grocery store!! During rush hours the line can be long but the employees are ALWAYS nice and polite!! I do think the SK location is the BEST, but hey I’m partial to SK!! Thanks for a wonderful lunch and great food!!

Been to this location multiple times, pulled pork is a basic go to. STAY AWAY FROM THIS LOCATION AT ALL COSTS. The last visit, they served my 5-year-old daughter rancid Cole slaw, same on my wife’s hotdog. My sandwich was in pieces. Threw it all in the trash and went elsewhere. LOOK AT THE PHOTOS, STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS.
If they will serve anything that looks and smells so terrible, and every item ordered is poor, drive another 5 mi to another Buddy’s and save yourself some diarrhea. As a Pro chef, shame on you for serving products that were in the very least left out for days, most likely way out of date, and not held at temperature. This place needs to throw everything prepared away and fire someone. GM? Health dept? WT#??
Also, this is not their doing but should be noted- there is a homeless schizophrenic man (very sad) that stays in the lobby as much as he can and the staff seems to allow it. Watch your children and keep your distance.

We love Buddy’s Barbecue. Anytime we drive through Knoxville we just have to stop. This location didn’t disappoint even though it’s at a gas station! The sit down restaurant was clean. The lady at the counter was so nice. When I mentioned to my husband we should have ordered hush puppies she put some on my tray at no charge! The food was good and hot! Love Buddy’s!

Employees were extremely friendly and helpful to me, and they were quick to help with reading the menu to me because I am slightly visually impaired. They were very helpful with timing and the food was amazing I would recommend a lot of my friends to try buddy’s BBQ.

Buddies food is so good. The portion is good. Also the price. Having everything I need at the table, napkins, salt, pepper, sauces is the best! I went to Zaxby the other day. I got 2 napkins, that’s it, I like some salt for my fries, ketchup too. I have kids that need more than 2 napkins some times. Everything is behind the counter! If i need just 1 more pack of ketchup I have to walk back to the counter, and wait! It means a lot that Buddies has everything I need at the table so I can enjoy my meal!!!

This is my first time visiting this barbecue restaurant. Went inside so I didn’t hold up the drive-through. Ordered a very simple turkey platter which took over 15 minutes for them to get out. Turkey was lukewarm at best and the plate was doused in chili covering the hush puppies and turkey. Food was rather bland. Lots of people working but not seeming to get a lot done. Food was bland at best. Hoping that they were just having a bad day and my next visit might be better.

This is the second time I’ve ordered from this specific location and my order was messed up. The first time I ordered 4 Hawg dawgs and all 4 were missing the hotdog. That was resolved relatively quickly with no problem. This time around I ordered 3 tender lil buddy meals and paid extra for the Mac and cheese as a side and got home to find there was no Mac and cheese in any box. I called the store and spoke with the manager, explained my issue, he got back on the phone and told me he spoke to the side person and that that person said they put it in the bag so he basically said I was lying about it and then when I reiterated that there was definitely no Mac and cheese in the bag he put me on hold again for 10 minutes so i decided to just drive to the store and as I’m pulling into the parking lot he gets back on the phone and asks me if I can come back to the store and get the Mac and cheese. While my issue was resolved in the end, the customer service from the manager was just unacceptable.

All you can eat ribs!!!! (Until they run out during the dinner rush). Super tasty! I had 3 sets of 5 ribs and 2 sides for less than $15! Not sure if this is only on Saturdays.
Food/Drink quality for price: amazing! Get there before dinner rush and you can eat ribs to your heart’s content. “If you leave hungry, that’s on you.” they said.
Atmosphere: very friendly! A regular who was watching the game helped us navigate how to ask for more ribs. There’s a side window near the bathrooms that you use to ask. No need to bring your plate.
Noise level: not bad and tv wasn’t too loud either.
Lighting: like an old diner, but with a TV to watch March madness!
Staff: super friendly! “You gonna get the all you can eat ribs? Yeah you are…” Haha they were working hard and poking fun with the customers at the front.
Cleanliness: pretty clean!
Seating: mostly booths with several tables in middle, booth cushions aren’t as comfy as they look, but fine
Outlets: There’s one at the back at the base of a pillar that works
Car parking: tons
Bike parking: none, use metal fence next door
