I just ordered here and I’m glad I did. I saw some of the reviews and I am glad I am not one to listen to others opinions because every one has one, but I love to visit and see things and taste things for myself as we all have different preferences as well. I repeat I am so glad I did. This place was so good, not only the service and atmosphere, but the food was so good. I got the pad Thai and ordered it with chicken and it is sooo good. I absolutely love it. I did order quite a bit of food for tomorrows lunch for work as well and so I got some kind of jalapeno dish with the fried rice on the side and not only was the chicken in it so juicy and the flavors were off the chain. Loveee it! I tried everything I got except for the egg drop as I am saving it for tomorrow but it does look good and sure it is if the food was absolutely what I was looking for. I will say this, what I really loved about the place was that it seemed to be family owned and even if there were not all family they sure sat down to eat together as one and I loved that! Even though I wasn’t going to eat there it made me feel right at home. I appreciate the service being quick. I ordered and was out between 10-12 minutes, no more than 15. Everything was great and I couldn’t go to bed without doing this review so if you are reading this..try it for yourself. I promise you this place will not disappoint.

One of my favorite places to eat. I almost always order the vegtable medley with chicken and it is just my favorite dish, but everything I have had here is wonderful. It always tastes so fresh and flavorful and even when I’m sick, the soups and medley are my go to. I also love that you can get a side of lo mein noodles to go with any dish, because sometimes I just absolutely need a little of everything. This is also one of the only places I get honey lemon chicken and for that reason alone I’m here almost every weekend I get paid. I don’t eat in much as it’s a bit small of a dine in space, but I still recommend them to everyone I can. The food is just that good.

How did you go from having the best rice in FM to the worst in Dallas? You changed the rice (or the recipe), and it’s terrible-really disappointing. I can honestly say that none of them matched the quality and consistency of all the offerings from China Island in Flower Mound. We’ve been ordering take out or delivery weekly for over five years, and everything is truly outstanding. The Orange Chicken is the best we’ve ever had, with the highest quality ingredients and perfectly prepared broccoli and other vegetables and savory sauces. With large quantities and aggressively low prices, you’ll never be disappointed with anything you choose from the extensive menu at China Island!

I ordered takeout from China Island Asian Grill for the first time yesterday and had a great experience from start to finish. I was greeted by friendly faces when I arrived, which immediately set the tone. I ordered the lunch special with orange chicken, and it did not disappoint. The chicken breast was cooked perfectly, and the sauce was unexpectedly and wonderfully spicy. The vegetables were fresh, and I can’t say enough about the sauces overall. Truly a great experience, and I’ll definitely be recommending this place to others!

Stopped by for a late lunch. Atmosphere matches what I expect for a cheap Chinese restaurant. Food was tasty (albeit they claim spice and it wasn’t), service was fast and straight to the point. Worth it if you want some Chinese food and don’t want to spend a fortune, or don’t want to waste time. I got one of their traditional dishes with beef, came with rice, 18 USD.

I’ve been coming to China Island for years, and it’s always the best! Whether I’ve gotten takeout, delivery, or dine-in, the food is always very hot and fresh and the portions are huge! On top of that, the staff is very attentive and super sweet. This restaurant is definitely my comfort food and me and my family actually have a tradition of eating here every year on Christmas Eve.
