First time visiting Haven at the recommended of a friend. Overall we had a great experience! We were able to make a reservation for 6 at lunchtime with ease. The food was good! The “Potato Hay” fries were a little too crispy and could have used a tad more flavor but the portion was generous and a great shareable for the table. The salmon entrée was delicious and I would order again in a heartbeat. I would not hesitate to come back in the future for a dinner service.

DINNER: We’ve been longtime fans of Word of Mouth Restaurants, and while I’ll be honest that Haven fell off for a bit, it’s officially back!
Haven used to be our favorite spot in the Brookhaven/Buckhead area — we even held our backyard COVID wedding reception on their patio in 2020. At the time, everything was incredible: food, service, planning. Over the years though, with staff changes, the food and service started to slip… at least in our opinions. After a couple of poor brunch service experiences (though brunch food has always been 10/10) and not loving the dinner menu, we stopped going.
This past Saturday was our first time back in years, and IT WAS BOMB.
What we loved:
* Roasted Green Circle Farms chicken – Juicy inside, perfectly crisp skin, with corn, Vidalia onions, chimichurri & broccoli.
* Grilled pork chop – Cooked perfectly in a well-balanced peri peri sauce. Only note: some of the Vidalia onions could’ve been cooked a touch more.
* Tuna appetizer special – Fresh and unique! Loved the carpaccio-style prep (so refreshing vs. overdone tartare stacks). I’d just use half the aioli so the fish shines more.
* Yeast rolls & potato hay – Classic staples, still amazing.
* Dresden Cobb – Always solid, more of a lunch favorite.
* Chicken & shrimp gumbo – A longtime classic; hearty but still light so you don’t feel weighed down.
* Burger – fantastic
Other notes:
* Haven has weekly specials and live music every other Thursday.
* They host fun events like Halloween bashes and mixers — love the community vibe.
* On my list for next time: grilled artichokes (looked amazing at the table next to us), beet salad, and steak tartare.
So happy to have Haven back in rotation — highly recommend!

BRUNCH: Haven offers a solid brunch, and we love that the patio is both dog-friendly and covered — a perfect go-to when the weather is questionable, and they usually have last-minute availability.
Food notes:
* Beignets: Delicious starter for groups or anyone with a sweet tooth (kids love them too).
* Short Rib Hash: Hearty, flavorful, and always great.
* Omelette Specials: My usual go-to. Just wish the kitchen would consistently catch that I’m lactose intolerant and need no cheese. The center can also be a bit underdone, especially when I order egg whites — but flavor-wise, still love it.
* Ham Benedict: Solid classic.
* Steak & Eggs: Disappointing the one time we tried it — especially given the price point.
* The Big Nasty: Legit comfort food, but would love if it came on a biscuit instead of a soft bun (or if there was an option to swap).
* Breakfast Potatoes: Extra crispy with onions — I personally love them, but some might find them a touch too dark
Drinks:
* Coffee menu is limited — just drip, cappuccino, and double espresso, with cream as the only option.
* Would love to see non-dairy milk options and better coffee quality overall — we’ve skipped brunch a few times because of that.
Service & vibe:
* Always attentive and friendly.
* Really appreciated the thoughtful touch during our last visit — they surprised my husband with a brownie for his birthday and brought me a dairy-free dessert so I wasn’t left out.
All in all, Haven remains one of our favorite casual-yet-upscale brunch spots — just a few tweaks away from being perfect.

Was a great place to eat! It was valet only when I went due to it being a busy Friday night. The atmosphere was nice, but it really doesn’t match the type of food that they’re serving at Haven. But that doesn’t really matter to me, food is food and it tasted really good. I had the circle chicken and it was so moist and it basically fell apart in my mouth. Our server Randall was so quirky and funny. He truly was a cherry on top of the entire night. if you’re looking for a place to eat with coworkers or have a nice dinner out with your family. I recommend Haven.

Great spot for a casual, relaxed date night! The manager was super great and checked on us and other patrons regularly to ensure that everyone was having a good time. Our server was nice but definitely inexperienced. She missed the mark on several things including waiting too long after our meals were served to ask if we were actually enjoying our meals or if we needed anything. She also never once refilled our waters though she saw our glasses empty on several occasions. For a nice restaurant, clients should never sit for prolonged periods with no water. The food was overall good though my salmon tasted fishy (the result of not being seasoned enough nor balanced with something citrusy like lemon to balance out the taste) and my twice baked potatoes was ice cold, twice. Management hinted that they may be experiencing issues with their ovens but still overall disappointing. The crab cake was delicious and the desserts were quite good. Overall though we experienced some issues during our meal, management response was excellent and our concerns were addressed as best as they could so I’d still recommend this establishment.

We had the pleasure of dining here on Saturday 8/17 with our friends. We started with the scallop special, recommended but our fabulous waiter, which was delicious. Two of us had the Branzino special, which I absolutely loved. My husband had the gumbo and my friends husband, the trout. Every dish was fantastic. We can’t wait to come again.

As one knows, be it after years of experience or the first time, one thing to going wrong is to be expected. But, not during our private dining on patio luncheon held on October 21st! Katelyn, the event manager was jokingly asked to ‘order up’ good weather, and even that work out perfectly.
From the moment we entered the restaurant your team was on top of everything. They were always there, but not intrusive, immediately hopped on whatever request was made and handled all timing perfectly. Kudos to Chef – the food was delicious!!! All comments were positive and beyond – perfectly prepared, hot, good portions, well plated and plenty of variety. No one left hungry.
I cannot thank Katelyn and the entire staff at Haven, enough for making this surprise retirement party, a special occasion, even more memorable.

I wish I could rate this place higher!! Haven Restaurant and Bar is such a gem. I dined here for the first time last night with friends and everything was simply phenomenal. I had the Grilled Beef Tenderloin which was absolute perfection. The beef was cooked exceptionally well with the perfect amount of salt. The whipped potatoes were nice and buttery smooth and the spinach was the best spinach I’ve ever had. It was packed with flavor and the bearnaise sauce accompanied everything so well. We also tried the new Grilled Artichokes which were delicious. The ricotta really put it over the top and again, was seasoned perfectly. The staff was also top notch! Our waiter was fantastic beacuse he was so kind and professional and knew the menu back and front. The brunch manager was still there and he was also amazing and so nice. I live an hour away but will absolutely make the drive to come back again very soon.

We love Haven and especially Randall, one of the servers! We eat here for dinner and brunch. Both excellent. The salmon at any meal is one of our favorites though the kitchen does steak with excellence too. The mixed drinks are gorgeous.

Atmosphere was nice, the outdoor patio was cute and the staff were friendly, and plenty of parking. I gave 2 stars because I never had my water refilled and my salad was terrible. Looked good, but the salmon had no flavor… no salt or garlic powder, nothing! It was tossed on the grill and served as is, bland. The lettuce was wilted, bacon was hard and chewy, and eventually I had to ask for something to spruce it up.
And my salad cost more than what my fiancé ordered, which was a steak! That’s ridiculous.

This is the second time I’ve been to this restaurant and the food was as delicious as it was the first time. So I had to do a review. The corn bread was moist and hot when it came to the table. If you are a corn bread fan like I am this is a must try. Now another favorite of mine is a grilled Caesar salad and Haven did it right. You can’t beat a grilled Caesar salad and I wish more restaurants would offer this. The Tuna and Salmon dishes were top notch. The quality of the fish was definitely sushi level and I recommend trying either dish. The restaurant price range is $$$-$$$$.
