Great fish and chicken! And large quantity! Definitely a way to feed alot at once and not spend alot, we got the 25 piece family half chicken and half fish for my family of 5 and spent 42 bucks and it made 2 meals!

Food was very good. I saw this was a new restaurant in Altus since I was last here and have been wanting to try it out. I was welcomed when I came in the door, nice to get that. Got the 4 piece fish, hush puppies and slaw. Very generous portions. The fish was just as good as what they have a my church’s cookouts. I’ll be back.

The food is good when not “Overcooked”. My advice is to avoid eating if it’s an hour before closing. I get great food around lunchtime, but in the late evening, the cook seems not to care about quality. The gentleman who takes the orders is always friendly and prompt in service, but whoever is cooking in back in the evening screems and yells at the nice guy and turned my fish into Jerky. I hope to be able to enjoy an evening meal from time to time, so I hope this gets corrected.

Restaurant was clean. Staff at register was friendly. Fountain drink was crisp and tasted good. I got the 3 pc Fish & Shrimp with Fries & Hushpupies. I was bummed they were out of coleslaw but made do. Shrimp were large and plump and had a good flavor. Fish was hot, great flavor. Portions were large. I liked their French fries. Even the Tarter sauce & Cocktail sauce tasted housemade. I was surprised they were not busy on a Sunday. Will definitely be back.

We just stopped in to grab a bite. And found this place to have good food and a pleasant atmosphere, there were no other customers in the restaurant. The food in the pictures on the windows looked like our plates. My favorite was the red beans and rice. If you get a chance for a quick bite of fish take it at CHICK O’ FISH.

Food was decent but they messed up my brother’s order and I found bones in my fish. Cashier/waiter didn’t look like he knew what he was doing. The dining area is overall clean, but the drink machine is broken and there are lids that don’t fit the cups at all. Bathrooms seem unmanaged, both doors don’t lock and one doesn’t even close. A bit messy, with no soap, and empty paper towel and toilet paper dispensers (though some was sitting out).

We had 5 fish and 2 sides for $8. It was enough food for 2 people. Fish was tender and tasty. Green beans and red beans with rice were very good. Will return very soon for more fish.
