Bartender made a fabulous Maker’s Mark Manhatten ($6.50) along with a Whiskey Stout ($9) served with complimentary hot chips and a delicious dip. Started with a Wedge salad ($13) and plenty of toppings but would have loved more tomatoes. Filet Cheesesteak ($23) and decided to add mushrooms ($2) and it was tasty and served hot; Stuffed seabass ($36) was the highlight. Chef cooked it perfectly and it was the freshest fish ever! Side of asparagus ($10) had the perfect amount of seasoning. Finished with Luna Pinot Noir ($15) and a Panna Cotta for dessert ($12). Outstanding Food. Service was attentive and friendly; however waiter was training a new waiter that his hair was hanging in his face and over his eyes. Just pull it back. Will absolutely go back.

Our servers were pretty nice, but sometimes slow. They noticed when my mom finished her drink and immediately asked if she wanted another and got rid of the glass. When I asked for a refill on my drink it did take a bit of time to get to me but otherwise they did good. I got the Guinness burger on their special menu but the sauce didn’t really taste like Guinness at all. Fries were pretty salty but they were crispy and good. My mom got the appetizer sampler and said the shrimp and wings were overcooked. Their limes and lemons were pretty dry as well. The Bavarian pretzel, no complaints. Very good. I liked the mustard sauce with it, the cheese sauce wasn’t very flavorful. The basque cheesecake was also pretty good. Theming of the restaurant was kinda cool but a little tacky in some places. I wouldn’t say the food is worth their price. Pretty standard stuff. The drink is the orange guava margarita. Very tiny bathroom also.

Second time to Kings Tavern. My wife and I enjoyed some signature cocktails. I had a cucumber margarita. We shared baked clams for an app. I had the Lobster Tavern which is crab stuffed lobster tail with parmesan risotto and green beans. We also shared a cheesecake dessert. Everything was very good.

I was here yesterday for a Valentine’s Day lunch with a gal pal. My 3rd time dining here. Never once was I disappointed about anything. I’m a professionally trained personal chef. I honestly don’t have one complaint! From the outside, you would never know what a gem this place is! Go!

Tavern fries were delicious!
Cod sandwich was good!
Tavern Burger & Fried Chicken Sandwich were overcooked and dry. We would come back and try different things in the future, maybe entrees instead of sandwiches

My husband and I attended a comedy show here. We also were celebrating being newly married along with family. When our waitress was informed of our marriage the whole house joined us in celebrating. The comedian gave us a huge shoutout. We really enjoyed everything here. The wings were excellent, I ordered the fish stuffed with crab meat which was delicious. We drank Long Island iced tea that made us even happier. What a beautiful night. We can’t wait to return.

09/29/24: Returned for dinner with friends. As usual, everything about our experience was great. From our sassy server, Devon, to our yummy food and drinks. Devon made sure to not just meet, but to exceed our needs. She is pleasant, and knowledgeable about the food and drinks.
All the food served was so delicious. From the hub’s filet, to my pan roasted salmon. Our friends enjoyed their fish and chips, and blackened salmon BLT. Drinks are also well made. It’s just SUCH a great place to dine. LOVE IT!
Earlier post:
My husband thought it a good idea to stop on our way home from DE. Boy was he right! We had an amazing waitress: Cathy. Engaging, pleasant and just GOOD. If passing this establishment, it is unassuming. But do not pass it! The food and drinks are AH-MA-ZING. And it is clean inside. Do. Not. Miss. It. The BEST.

Heard some good things about the reopening of Mr T under a new ownership, a new menu and new decor. We made a reservation for Sunday dinner and it wasn’t too busy. We waited a while before our waiter took our orders. We ordered appetizers and sandwiches. The appetizers came out at a reasonable time. Both the mushroom soup and baked onion soup were quite good. Then, it must be another 30 minutes before we were served our entrees. Our waiter disappeared most of the time and we didn’t notice a manager around. It’s definitely the slowest place, both kitchen and dinning room service that I have ever experienced. The decor is pleasant, the parking lot is tight and the value proposition is average the best.
Update 3/2024:
We were back for lunch and this time there were substantial improvements in both food and services. The mushroom soup and baked onion soup were very good. Our sandwiches and salad were delicious. The wait staff was friendly and efficient. The parking area is greatly improved. I guess they finally get most of the new opening obstacles out of the way.

To be honest, I’m very disappointed. My husband and I were on our Honeymoon and saw this restaurant was close by and highly rated. Unfortunately, these reviews lead me astray. Note I am not a food critic, but I do cook for a living, so I know what’s decent and what’s not.
1. Service was way too slow. I work in the food industry so I would know what’s timely and what’s not. We waited about 25 minutes for sandwiches and they weren’t busy at all. We didn’t order anything extravagant either. My husband also asked for a box for his wings, he never got it from the server and just left it.
2. Misleading menu names. My husband ordered a “club” sandwich and what he received, was not a club at all. It was just a sandwich on a brioche bun. The picture is attached.
3. The food wasn’t good. Most definitely overpriced for the quality you get. I took a few bites of an appetizer and legit did not want anything else. The fries tasted like McDonald’s fries. They were soggy and lacked flavor. I actually got nauseous from my crab cake sandwich and couldn’t eat anymore. It was mushy and the bread was hard, I can tell it was sitting in the window while we were waiting. They offered to give us a free desert to celebrate our Honeymoon which I did appreciate, but the food was so bad we didn’t even want it. They ended up refunding my meal instead.
We looked forward to eating there all day, and left unhappy. I wouldn’t recommend eating here.

Kings has some very good dishes but, as we found out the other night, they also have a few that are just okay. We ordered the Parmesan Crusted Chicken. When we ordered it, the waitress called it chicken parm. And she was right. I guess shame on me for not realizing it was chicken parm because when we got it that’s exactly what it tasted like. It wasn’t horrible but it wasn’t spectacular. I’ve made better at home myself. The frites and chips that we got were good. I personally feel the beers on tap leave something to be desired but overall it’s a good atmosphere and the food is typically very good. Little disappointed they got rid of the stuffed salmon and replaced it with stuffed bass.
