Tony Packo’s has been serving up authentic Hungarian flavors in Toledo since 1932! From our famous Sweet Hot Pickles to the legendary Packo’s Chili Dog, every bite is a taste of history. In 1972, Burt Reynolds put us on the map when he signed a hot dog bun—kicking off our iconic “bun signing” tradition. Now, walls at every Packo’s location showcase autographed buns from presidents, musicians, and Hollywood stars. We even gained worldwide fame thanks to Toledo native Jamie Farr, whose M*A*S*H character, Corporal Klinger, gave us a shout-out in six episodes! Stop by and be part of the tradition.
Casual, long-running Hungarian-American spot with signature hot dogs, soups & classic entrees.

Had their standard dog. Came with chili, onions and mustard. Nothing like my standard order but really worked. The chili had a big flavor, the hotdog was a bit garlicky and had a nice snap to the casing while the rest of it rounded out the dish.
Perogies showed up a few minutes later. I went with their standard flavor and really enjoyed how the potato stuffing paired with the paprika-infused sour cream. Tasty!
Glad I gave them a shot!
Overall good experience, I can see why it’s so popular as an affordable quick hot and hearty meal.
But…. I ordered the pumpkin strudel. I think it’s was 4.50$, I ended up with a 2” square. Disappointed? Yes. I was shocked when I open the “to go “ box and saw what I had. I don’t expect a whole strudel but what I received was not worth the money.
If you are looking for some great ethnic food or a great hotdog, this is the place to go. We had the stuffed cabbage rolls and pierogi’s.
The food was very good. I you leave Tony’s hungry, it’s your own fault. Many famous people have walked through its doors. Check out the autographs on the walls.
