Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Yesterday we decided to grab a few fish sandwiches. We ordered online at 3:22pm with a pick-up time of 3:27-3:30. The sandwich is seasonal and normally is pretty tasty. I have had it at this location before. This location has gone down hill. The management is terrible. They actually had 2 managers on site on a Sunday. Niether wanted to take accountability for the kitchen is serving customers absolute garbage. I wouldn’t have served what my family and I received to a dog. When I called it sounded like a big party going on. One manager had a nerve to lie and say we ordered our food at 11:00am. Who would let their fast food order sit for almost 4hrs. I would have to be delusional and the restaurant should never let an order sit that long and still serve it!! Receipt provided in pics!

Went to the drive thru with a simple order of two chocolate milkshakes (1 large 1 medium), a meal, and a large fries. We received two milkshakes that were evidently vanilla with the taste and coloring and asked for a refund but was met with such attitude with an excuse that it was machine operated (which is fine, however other locations I actually received a chocolate milkshake so I wouldn’t recommend going to this location if you like chocolate). A lady took them begrudgingly and said that she will need to get a manager. We asked for a refund as that seemed like the easiest solution as she seemed flustered and it was busy. We were then told to move forward and was given AN order, but it wasn’t our order but another car’s that was ahead of us that was waiting longer. We spoke to another lady that was actually the only sweet person we spoke to in person and confirmed our doubts that our milkshake were in fact not chocolate and that an employee did not hold down a button long enough and offered to have our shakes made again. We gave them the benefit of doubt and waited for the shakes to be made and our actual order to be given to us. At this time, there are lines are cars behind us and at the very least 4 cars with the wrong orders. They took back the order that we touched which I hope they don’t dispose of or give right back to customer as that is not safe. More time has passed but we were offered to park so we don’t keep holding up the line. We finally were given our one meal and one large fry. More time passes. The initial rude female employee returns with 2 medium milkshakes that were the same exact coloring and tasting—vanilla. Frustrated and defeated, we just wanted a refund like we originally asked for so we can just leave. She walked away with more horrible attitude. I, already so appalled by the lack of hospitality this location had to offer, walked in to see if I could have any compensation for the kerfuffle that ensued like fries or a burger, the initial rude lady asked what more do I want and I explained some sort of compensation and she replied “well did the burgers turn out fine nothing was wrong with those” which I then reminded her I was given someone else’s order completely. She didn’t like that response and asked for the manager to speak to me. He greets me and asks me what he can do for me. I explain to him the refund and—he cuts me off with horrible attitude saying he’s working on it right now. I continued and explained yes I understand that but I was wondering if this place offers any compensation with how messy this whole situation became. He pauses and looks at me with what felt like either an intimidation tactic or perhaps him trying to ground himself from his anger/ frustration but eventually then replies “what do you want”. I replied “I’m not sure do you guys offer fries or burger for compensation?” He says okay fries and I was finally given a ‘complimentary’ fries and my refund and a “have a good day”.

Will never return here again and will share my experience to friends.

kid who took my order sounded stoned, person at the window looked like they would rather be asleep. ordered 4 chicken sandwiches and 4 medium onion rings, the rings literally had 4 -6 rings in each box . 47 bucks for almost no food. Ticket on bag has foot print on it . i will not be returning

Every body was Nice, clean cut. All the food was hot , yummy, Had to wait a while on the food, but they were busy as hell! Even the bathroom was clean, no oder. Way better than, warm or cold fast food from other fast food places we have been getting lately. DROVE FROME KEYSTONE HEIGHTS,FL . we’ll worth it

I was greeted right away and welcomed into the restaurant. I ordered a bacon cheese burger combo, just the way I like it, and it was perfect. Hot, melty, and tasty. Fries were nice and hot too! Well done.

This place is awesome. Management and staff are super friendly and the service was really quick but I tended to stick around for just a little bit longer just because. They let me try out a new milkshake flavor they had and were nice enough not to even charge me for the kid cup. But I ended up ordering another one. Anyway. Food is good as always. Give him a try. They’re popping these places up everywhere. Keep going Whataburger!

Ok so, I go through the drive through and ordered their #1 meal on menu- which is advertised at $9.99, then they ask if you want lettuce, tomato, onions and cheese “ yes of course “ my order is now priced over $12.00- and wouldn’t you know it, amount you pay is not on the receipt. Rip off is an understatement. Buyer be ware.

Went through drive-thru late last night around 1am got a whataburger single with cheese and lg fries. The fries were hot however the burger was not as i took 2 to 3 bites I noticed that it was undercooked . The was pink through out the inside.

90% of time the service is really good. Nice staff, clean store, and normally the speed of getting food is good. There have been times that I’ve questioned what’s going on but not many. The management team seems really good..

Went to get breakfast tacos this morning, and man… I don’t know who is cooking but so much salt in the food. The Apple pies were over cooked. Horrible! Couldn’t eat it. Coffee is bitter. This is not how the Whataburger food taste in Texas. Maybe they should go train to cook there. I don’t recommend this place.
