This is such a great little restaurant. John and I thoroughly enjoyed every single bite of our food. We started with szechuan shrimp and panko ahi tuna. For our entrees our waiter recommended blackened snapper topped with butter poached shrimp and dayboat scallops with seasonal vegetables. We had such a fantastic experience and will be returning!

The first thing to note is the published name of the restaurant isn’t on the marquis. The restaurant is in back of the CVS on the end. I’m told there are a lot of regulars and they don’t need their name in lights. Good to know – that’s a good sign (no pun intended).

Fresh tasting spices in complementary chicken dumpling hour-de-vour drizzled with a great sauce. Delicious.
I ordered 1/2 Ceasar Salad, Pan Roasted muscles in white wine/garlic broth, and shrimp and scallop sauteed in garlic.
Portions were generous! and I did take some food home.
Ceasar was crisp and well seasoned. Notice the anchovies on top – seldom see that nowadays. I’m not into a lot of dressing, so if you’re not either, be sure to ask for a dryer salad. However, well worth ordering as it was very good.
The generous portion of muscles were done perfectly, sauce among the best I’ve had. Crusted (garlic & plain) bread was as if home baked.
Shrimp and scallops were delicious. Scallops done perfectly to my taste. Shrimp delicious and maybe just a bit soft.
Wait staff was very attentive, water glass always kept full. Made me feel very comfortable, and despite the number of people eating, felt relaxed with no preasure to finish or leave table, even after paying check, which came quickly when requested. Although everyone was actively enjoying themselves, sound level was good and it was easy to talk at your table.

Great service and huge amounts of food. Went for sister’s birthday dinner and was very satisfied. BYOB. Make sure you bring plenty of wine and beers. Outdoor seating so you need to reserve. Appetizers are delicious (clams and mussels). Huge salads and tasty meals at very moderate prices.

I enjoyed this place. Food and service were good. BYOB which is always nice. As someone else posted there isn’t a giant sign or anything with the resteraunts name on the front. They put your last name on the menu which is a nice little touch.
Only negative was the steak was a bit overcooked.

A cozy restaurant with old world charm . Fresh scallops , swordfish and mussels were delicious. Key lime pie was a desert. I don’t normally order, but glad I did, it was very tasty.

We cancelled our reservation because of quarantine concerns and instead asked for takeout. Paul was gracious and helpful in accommodating our needs. Everything was excellent- freshly prepared and packed as we picked it up. The Caesar salad was more than enough for 2 and absolutely delicious; stuffed shrimp appetizer as good as any I’ve had and both entrees were perfect. Restaurant Diomede will be in our “dinner rotation” in the coming months and we can’t wait to go in person soon!!

Went with 2 other couples and had a great time on a Friday night. Most ordered the stuffed Halibut which everyone loved and I ordered the soft shell crabs which were some of the best I have ever tasted. Nice sized portions and we split a Cesar salad and I like the fact every entree is always fresh seafood and is served with potatoes and a vegetable rather than a la carte. Good service and the waiter had a big personality and a great sense of humor. This is our go to place for great seafood and is BYOB.

Great experience! Phenomenal food by Paul the talented chef and great service by Dominique. Called last minute New Years Eve as a Hail Mary for a dinner table for 2 around 5:30pm..Kim got us in for 6:15pm and even held the table when I was 10 min late. The the food was incredible. Great lobster tail, great veal, great chicken dishes, great everything!! Thank you for a great NYE!

I don’t like to leave a review like this, but our dinner was ruined. Based on previous reviews, my husband and I were hoping that we found a gem to visit on our trips to the beach. Unfortunately, we were disappointed. Our Caesar salad was good, but we waited almost an hour for the entree, which were ok, but not great. There were only 2 waitresses on, so between busing tables and serving, our service was lacking, including asking three times for a refill of water, which never was brought to me. Although the table next to us did get refilled i was baffled when she filled their glasses and ignored me. I also had to ask for a cracker for my crab legs and a bowl for the shells. And to top it off, our check was slapped on the table without a pen. We won’t be back.
