Mission BBQ catered our wedding in Shellsburg, IA, and they were absolutely amazing! We had so many guests tell us how good the food was for both the cocktail hour and the dinner. Everything was set up beautifully and the service was outstanding. The staff were professional, polite and so attentive the entire night.
We worked with Elizabeth throughout the planning process and with Brooklyn and the Davenport team as the day got closer. They were organized, responsive and genuinely great to work with. They made everything feel easy and stress free, even while planning from out of state.
The whole experience exceeded our expectations and we wouldn’t change a thing. We’ve always loved Mission BBQ, and this made us love them even more. Highly recommend the Davenport location for catering.

Delicious food!!! I need to eat gluten free food and this restaurant was able to meet all my needs. Gf fries, meat and sauces. So good! And wonderful service. Watched the manager hug 5 veterans which was so very touching … and then we sang the National Anthem. I didnt sing because I was crying. So touching, so proud to be an American !!! Thank you for this incredible opportunity we will always ❤️ search out mission BBQ places !!!

This may be the best place to eat in Eastern Iowa! I love the decor and atmosphere of the place. It seems the employees take ownership and it shows. They are happy to help in anyway they can.

BBQ on the mind…I ran in for lunch & was greeted with love all around me. The sweet kiss of coming home after months of separation. I ordered the pulled chicken sandwich with bacon green beans and tested out every bbq sauce. The waitresses were very kind offering a sample of the hot sausage which was very hot and a sample of the banana pudding which ended the meal with a sweet treat. Military photos, local police, fire, & rescue photos decorated the walls. Each BBQ sauce has its own unique flavor you have to taste for yourself to see which one your tastebuds prefer.

I got the pleasure of eating at your Davenport location on 11/19. I have always been picky about my ribs however my sons recruiter told us to give this place a try. I was blown away by this place. the atmosphere and the service was above and beyond. When we first walked in I told them it was my first time and they gave me a sample rib to try. Food was fresh and so delicious. Even the manager Kelly came over to say hi. She was so warm and friendly I was about to ask her to sit down and join us. She chatted with us for a little bit and by the end I literally gave her a hug… It really felt like visiting family not just another restaurant. The told my wife the apple crips is the new love of my life! LOL. I told them it really take a lot to blow my hair back when it comes to trying new places and this place did it in spades hands down!! I can’t wait to go back!!

Ordered our Thanksgiving dinner there. We have never been to Mission BBQ, however, a friend highly recomemended this place.
Smoked turkey, ribs and a bunch of sides were ready at the time of my pick up. Thanksgiving dinner was excellent. Everything was tasty and pleased our crowd. Everyone is still talking about how great the food was. I have never been so happy with a Order out Holiday dinner as I am from Mission BBQ. I can not say enough about the food, service and friendly people. Mission BBQ is my go to place now. Try it and your taste buds will thank you and so will your guests. And yes, my guests know I do not cook!!! They were happy to get such great food!

The food here was amazing it was good. I feel like if you get the brats, it’s an easy 2 meals. This place is similar to the famous Dave’s. Only the barbecue sauces are good. The sandwiches Have good flavor the desserts are worthy of eating and no barbecue sauce is so hot, it’s a joke. The staff here is always friendly, very polite. Any atmosphere is a little different than most places. But it’s nice, it’s like police badge themed. we have eaten here several times.

I ordered the ribs, fries, and the caramel bread pudding. Let me tell you, this place was awesome. I smoke my own ribs so I am a tough critic. They had a good smoke on the ribs and many different sauces. The fries were very good and tasted like they were fresh cut. I loved the bread pudding and could’ve gone for more. I like the atmosphere of Mission BBQ. I will go again!
