Me and my husband love coming here, they have the best Mexican food and they actually care above their customers treating you like family or a friend. We eat here almost once a week and they never disappoint! So if you’re feeling spicy you should try it out.

$87 meal.
Not a single dish was edible.
The steak a la Mexicana is described as a grilled ribeye with onions and tomato’s and came as chopped up meat inside of an exceedingly spicy stew sauce.
The tacos were sitting in a pool of grease.
The enchiladas irked into complete mush, one big pile of mushy ingredients, and the guacamole was FULL of onions.
I called and asked for a refund and they said I would have to bring back all of the food to get a refund.
They were so good when they first opened but now the food is awful, and expensive.

Great, friendly service and amazing food to match it. I just moved to the area a few months ago and grew up in an area with small, family & friend owned and operated Mexican restaurants so needless to say, I was so scared I would never find good Mexican food again. Boy was I so wrong. I’ve tried out 3 other places in the area including one that everyone supposedly loves but I truly don’t know how because it can not compete with El Mezcalito. The portions are good sizes, not crazy big but not small either. Their food is my new go to comfort food. I would definitely recommend this place and have told all of my friends they HAVE to eat here with me every time they come to visit and they’re so excited already!!

I have been here several times and Mezcalito is always a good choice for Mexican food. The chips and salsa is so tasty that sometimes I fill up on that before my food arrives. Service is typically quick to get food to the table except on Valentines day when it was packed and the food took an hour to arrive but every other visit has been fine. Chicken and steak fajitas is my favorite and they always taste good. I got the Carne Asada once which was good but I like the steak in the fajitas more. My wife got the Nachos supreme (beef and chicken) which she likes a lot. I always take guests from out of town here and I always hear praise about it. 5/5 stars I will come back but maybe not on a holiday.

Delicious food, a few things forgotten or slightly different from our order. Server was quick to correct the errors and checked in approprietly. Great value. Fun decor, but VERY loud music from a speaker right above our table was a little off-putting at a non-rush early dinner. Would definitely come back if I were local.

OH MY MEXICAN FOOD!!! Had this place on my list for a long time and so glad we stopped. The guacamole was amazing as well as the queso AND the salsa! Had the al pastor tacos and they were amazing! The arroz con pollo was extremely tasty as well! Will definitely be back!

Valentines dinner was delicious! I always have leftovers but this time we ate it all. The beans had good flavor. Everything was hot and freshly made. My favorite dish is tres amigos which is three friends, grilled thin steak, flavorful shrimps in a spicy sauce with tomatos onions and peppers, grilled chicken, rice, beans, ect. Friendly staff, good atmosphere and great food. Keep up the good work. We will be back!

I visited for lunch. I had a taco and chile relleño lunch combo. It was delicious! The portions are very generous, so ended up taking over half of it home. It was just as good the next day! The servers are friendly and the service was quick, but there were not a lot of people there so I don’t know what it’s like when busy. They have successfully converted the interior from an Australian steakhouse to a fun Mexican fiesta! I can’t wait to go back.

Way overpriced. I ordered Chilaquiles. This were not on the menu so they made them for me. $24 for this plate is unheard of. The most you are to pay for this breakfast type of Mexican plate is $19 even in today’s economy. The server was nice, so customer service was alright.
I won’t be going back, too expensive for the quality of food.
