Came in looking for baklava and found much more. Don’t let Sunday fool you they have food ready to cook. I chose the chicken Schwarma. The chicken came on a delicious bed of rice and a side of the best hummus I have ever eaten. 10 out of 10 I will be back for many more meals.

WOW! Stopped in Tampa for the night and this popped up on Google maps! I got the chicken kebab plate! Everything was so flavorful! The chicken was juicy and delicious, along with the hummus and pita!! I would have definitely ordered more pita!

Efficiently managed the restricted space available inside the store. Prices are fair as per today’s inflated markets. Mostly Turkish products. Having 3 Thanksgiving dinners on our schedule this year, we decided to host one that was not as traditional. We had ordered our meal at AL Madina Food Grill & Deli and truly savored every bit of it. The food was amazing! So fresh, full of flavor, delicious, and with a number of vegetarian options. Our Thanksgiving 2022 menu consisted of grilled lamb chops, chicken kebab, falafel, rice, tabbouleh salad, hummus, cheese pie with zatar, spinach pie, spiced pickled veggies, pita bread, and knafeh.
The owners and staff were kind, generous, and shared the love of their food with us, giving us the opportunity to taste certain items before we ordered. Our menu was placed the day before and ready the next day as requested at 5pm. The owner made sure everything was to our satisfaction and the staff assisted us to load everything into our vehicle.
We highly recommend AL Madina Food Grill & Deli for lunch or your next gathering, you will definitely be pleased!

They have items that I can’t find in other shops, including Afghan saffron and special spices. Their deli is delicious and a must try. The chicken kebab over rice was so juicy and flavorful, plus they loaded it with sides and all the toppings you want… very generous portions. My toddler loved all their food, and she’s a picky eater. Vegetarians will love the falafel. The baba ganoush is great, especially if you ask them to do the special spices on them. The service was very good, and the lady was sweet and kind, very hospitable and patient. I have very high standards for baklava, and they’re only the 2nd place I’ve found in Tampa that has real authentic properly prepared baklava 🙂

Talk about great service! My girlfriend and I visited for the first time today. When I told the lady and man behind the counter it was our first time, they cooked up like 7 different items for us to sample so we could decide what we liked! The food was fantastic and one of the best meals we’ve had in the tampa area. Great value as well.

My food journey continues to be amazing in 2022.
I stumbled upon this great store the other day. You walk into a friendly atmosphere and a clean, organized store.
Then, the aromas from the Cafe in the back take over, and you find your suddenly hungry.
The owner was so nice and answered all my questions about the figs , pita bread and unique foods.
I made my way to the Cafe where I sampled some roasted chicken and soup. The flavors were very good, and I saw they had Lamb Kabobs on the menu. I haven’t had much Lamb since I went to the Netherlands. So, I was hopeful. They explained to me all of their meat is fresh, never frozen. They don’t even have a freezer. No chemicals or added fats or hormones and all of their meats and chicken are raised ethically.
The Lamb was so amazing that I was able to cut it with my fork, and the mild flavor of the Lamb made me so happy. I had some of their fresh garlic sauce and spicy chimichuri as an accompaniment and bounced between the sauces and just the meat. The rice was perfectly cooked, the homemade humus was so fresh and smooth I couldn’t stop eating it. I even took a few bites of my lunch partners steak. So good.
For desert, I had the most incredible baklava, i am normally not a fan. The outside was flaky and not too sweet; the finish was creamy and the pistachio was a unique experience.

A great place to find delicious food that’s fresh. Sara and her husband are so friendly. The food is so delicious I have getting takeout from there for about a month. There is a couple of booths if you want to dine in. I really love the spinach and beef pies. The lamb chops are delicious made fresh to order. I love the lamb kebabs they are awesome. If you love the taste of home cooked Middle Eastern food that’s made with love this is definitely the place to try.

Brandon does not have a lot of “mom and pop” restaurants to choose from, and this is most definitely worth the visit. All the food is served made to order and it is so good. The Beef Shawarma platter was melt in your mouth good, as was the gyro platter and the stuffed grape leaves were as good, if not better, than my best friend’s mom used to make (she was from Greece). Everything was fresh and so good. They gave us enough food that my husband and I each had two meals out of our platter. I’d give them 10 stars, if I could!
