We opened the doors to our first location over 12 years ago, and we haven’t stopped rolling ever since with our creative sushi, delicious saké and rockin’ music. With three sushi locations to choose from, our incredible sushi and saké has never been easier to enjoy in Louisiana. We also offer at home sushi chef parties, host fun events and provide catering services.

We love coming to Rock-N-Sake, and a huge part of that is because of Sadie. She’s seriously the sweetest and always takes such good care of us. Chill, friendly, and just really good at what she does. She remembers our usuals, makes great suggestions, and somehow keeps the whole bar running smooth without ever seeming stressed.
If you end up sitting at her bar, you’re in good hands. She makes the whole night better, every time.

I normally am not the type of person to write reviews but I had to after coming to the rock n sake in Metairie on Friday and then returning again Saturday night, I have to . The bartender with the long black hair is a racehorse . One minute she’s tending bar the next she’s managing . I have never seen someone work so fast and efficiently while providing fine dining level service . Very impressed . The entire staff was great actually you could tell they had a nice flow and worked well together . Presentation of the food was beautiful. 10/10 would recommend. I might just try to come take a few of your employees to work for me back home in AZ 🙂 just kidding !

Really bad experience-So my husband and I live in New Orleans and were in Metairie all evening shopping. It was 9:15 we were starving and craving sushi, we usually just get take out. But decided why not let’s treat ourselves, we NEVER go out to eat. We go into the restaurant sit down, server takes our drink order, I ordered one of their speciality cocktails. Everything was a going great, until the manger on duty, Tori, comes up to our table and says, I’m sorry but we cannot serve you any alcoholic drinks and accuses me of being too intoxicated to order a drink?!? I was baffled bc I had not had anything to drink all day. She stated that I was walking funny. And automatically assumed that I’m intoxicated?!? Totally embarrassing, bc I have a medical condition that makes me lean to my left side. It’s gotten worse in the last few years, and I never go out bc I’m too self conscious about it. And this is exactly why. We decided to leave bc I was so mortified andI started crying. All I can say is wow, I’ve never felt so humiliated. That manager does not need to be working with the public if she can’t tell the difference between someone who is intoxicated and someone who has a medical condition. My husband is furious. It totally ruined our night.

First time diners at this location and we really enjoyed it! We went on a Wednesday around 6pm and first thing we noticed were the cars overflowed onto an open lot next door. Seated at the sushi bar (prefer) and the chef was funny and lively, which matched the ambience and music of the place. Our waitress Tori was so sweet and very attentive! The food was fresh and flavorful and not too bad of a wait, nor was it too crowded. I do agree the price point for the size of the roll is a bit high, but you’re paying for the experience as well as the food. Wouldn’t be a weekly spot, but definitely a great switch up from your regular hum drum dining spot. The garlic salmon roll was rich and flavorful, scallops seasoned very well, and the tempura ice cream was magical!

Very happy at the fact that this place stays open till 11pm. The waitress was very nice and attentive! The calamari was very tastey and good,would definitely order again, something I order at any and every restaurant that sells it. I took 1 star away cuz I spent $80 on sushi, something I’ve never thought i could do (yes it was 2 of us but never before have I even come close to that amount). The sushi did taste good but was not anything extravagant for me to say it was worth $80. And the dessert, I didn’t know at all what it was but wanted to taste something new, I was left very disappointed with the presentation and the flavor it being some sort of seaweed wrapped icecream.

Amazballs! This is so much more than sushi and sashimi, this is a dining experience. Each dish had so many flavor profile, we could not stop commenting to each other about them. Everything is so fresh and you can tell in the taste. This is on a whole other level for eating out. Wow!
