The pizza here is phenomenal. It’s the best pizza in Mount Vernon, possibly the best pizza in Westchester. The pizza is not greasy, and it is also less salty than a lot of places. I also have to comment on the crust, which is uniquely soft and delicious. I don’t go to any other pizzerias anymore. This is the best I have found.
There is another very famous pizza place in Mount Vernon which attracts tourism, but John & Tony’s is better. Come here instead.

Yes agree with others who say it’s an “old school pizza joint.” Still operated by the original elderly owners and they’re open later than one would expect. For the locals who were born and bred in the Mt Vernon/Bxv area, this fills the void that Scala’s pizza left when they closed down. Yes, they are a no frills establishment and may not have specialty slices with “chicken bacon ranch etc” but sometimes certain generations just want their basic comfort food. Other nearby pizza joints in the Fleetwood area are not as tasty.

They scammed me for the price it says $20 for the veggie large and $18 for the cheese larger but since they know, I’m from out of town they charge me $28. They said they didn’t change that price of that board. I don’t believe that the pizza is good but the way how they treated I didn’t like it.

Oh 100% real spot. cash only. pizza is the best in the Whole Area, I normally don’t eat in but they made me feel so fckn comfortable with the talks and etc that I really finished both my slices there, made it feel like I’m in my living room at home!
