We went in late night after our plans to go to another restaurant were ruined because they closed an hour early, but I am so glad we came here instead.

The pork cracklin’s were so fresh they were still popping when they came out! We ordered what I would equate to pub food, but it was delicious.

Atmosphere was nothing extra, but the staff was helpful and there was live music. We’ll definitely be back.

Not a lot of choices for late night food in Greenville, North Carolina. Someone at the hotel recommended this place. Was a little worried — it’s a really small bar/microbrewery — but beggars can’t be choosers.

Service was really good. Waitress had a great personality. Drinks were real good. Food was above average but spicy. Overall no complaints all things considered. Probably wouldn’t eat there at 7PM but YMMV.

We were heading back from Washington and in the mood for a seafood lunch. Saw this option online and gave it a shot from the reviews. Everything we got was great re: portion and taste. The Sunday brunch menu looked good, but we opted for the more reviewed crab dip and pasta. Did not disappoint! Service was good and place is medium sized. Smothered Kraken fries app was a meal itself and drowning in cheese sauce for you fellow cheese lovers out there.

Excellent Everything! I was just there today for the 1st time. It’s a Tuesday about 3pm and there was about 5 other patrons. Service was excellent. The server came by many times to make sure I didn’t need anything and asked how my food was. I asked if the shrimp broil was spicy and she requested the chef go light on the spice and that helped. She explained menu items perfectly and said that the kids burger was half the size of an adult portion, but that adult burger must be huge because the kids burger was bigger than the ones at McDonald’s. My kid requested I cut it in 4 sections.
Fries delicious, shrimp excellent, chef gave me garlic butter on the side per request and I also had the gumbo. Taste was amazing, loved everything that was in it and it was topped with rice. I sent pics to my relatives and they will certainly make a visit when in town. The music was also great! I noticed people were greeted like regulars. Such a wonderful place with wonderful food, service and atmosphere. Price was excellent as well. For all you see my bill was $25. They also have weekday specials. Tables were clean. Located walking distance of ECU central campus, Uptown. I am so full I likely won’t eat dinner. Definitely worth every penny! Also, kids meals are as low as $5. Can’t beat that at all! Hope they don’t change anything. Great things need to stay the same

This place was laid back and dim lighted for a nice date. The food was good. The Cajun pasta was on point. The shrimp Po boy was good also. Our server was great he even went and found out if the shrimp were deveined, which they are for anyone wondering. He went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience.

The overall impression on the first visit was great! The first observation was the ability to reserve a table online in advance which our party of three took full advantage of. The hostess was very attentive when we walked in, and was quick to also acknowledge the reservation made online for a party of three. We were seated literally when the next table opened up. My son I will add, who attends ECU lives on campus which allowed us to come into town, park near his dorm, and casually walk over to the restaurant which was barely 5 minutes. The consensus all around was to try the Po Boy sandwiches and pork grinds which we did. The fried shrimp AND the cajun cheesesteak Po Boy sandwiches were tops! Get the pork grinds to with the cheese dipping sauce with a cocktail and you’ll be happy with the recommendation. Keep up the great work, and special shout out to our server Courtney who was tops in her upbeat personality and attentiveness throughout the meal

I was looking forward to having dinner here today or the 1st time and was highly disappointed! I ordered a cup of the gumbo, which I would rate a 4, but it was served at the same time as my entree, the Cajun pasta, so by the time I ate the gumbo the pasta was getting cold. The server and cook should know better. The Cajun pasta was a huge disappointment as the Cajun flavor wasn’t nearly strong enough, and it was very flat, requiring quite a bit of salt. I guess i will give the dish a 2. They should be embarrassed to serve the farm raised frozen shrimp in the dish when NC has tons of fresh shrimp, which the dish needed badly. The bloody Mary was good and deserves a 4. I don’t think I will go ever go back based on todays experience.

The food was very good and came in large portions! The 1 pound shrimp boil was enough for 2 people. Definitely well seasoned (jambalaya is hot in a good way). We enjoyed our time there. There was definitely effort and love put into making the food! High quality for sure!!!
