Our server, Brian took his time just to take our order and when we placed the order – we asked him how much time it would take. He said it would be 10 mins or so. We landed up waiting for over 20 mins for a simple veg burrito and enchiladas. We were so hungry, that we had to ask for more chips, which another server brought to us. At the end, we were done with the service and just asked for to go boxes when our food finally arrived.
He also did not check in with us But checked multiple times with the table next to us. ♀️
However when we asked for our bill, he was super quick.
Food quality – except the chips and salsa, the food was subpar. Just a soggy burrito and enchiladas with stuffed veggies and a side of undercooked rice and a small bowl of beans.
Overall, don’t recommend. Believe the other negative reviews. Wish, I read them before wasting my time and $
To start the server who greeted us was a mess.
She did not know her anything about her menu, never introduced herself and acted like she could not do basic functions like take an order. We tried to start off with drinks. My friend got a regular house margarita with a double shot. I ordered a Texas frozen. Needless to say the drinks were definitely bad… after it took who know how long to get our drinks when it came time to order the server kept walking away during us order to ask something that could have waited until we ordered our food. Out of respect for my friend taking me here I didn’t not say anything but I already had a feeling this lady was incompetent and I had no faith in this establishment. My food was just a Texas fajita and my friend got Salmon tacos. Her food was fine, mine however was not. My fajitas were barely warm. Refried been looked and tasted like they have been sitting out for awhile. Again not excited but I am eating what I ordered and while I’m chewing my fajita something taste off. The shrimps in my meals were not cooked. They had sizzle crust on them but once you split the shrimp it was still grey in the middle. I did not complain as I was just ready to go at this point. The reason for this review is about how the bill was delivered and presented to us. Our order taker was missing many times. Never check in on us so we flagged her down for the bill. Came over to us, walks away, then comes back with the bill. So of course we were charged with eveything we ordered. Then at the bottom of the check we see something that states that if you pay cash the bill would be cheaper then you paying with credit/debit… my friend had a question about it and wanted to see if she could get the double shot off since it was not in her margarita. Waited awhile to get our order takers attention again so that my friend could speak with the manager. The manager(this is the same man whom sat us also did not introduce himself) and asked us how he could help. My friend explains her dissatisfaction with her drink not mentioning the service. While doing so she does point out that my shrimp was raw. I spoke on it since our order taker took my fajitas when we asked for a manager. This is where my issue is starting to take place. 1.) I am an active manager at a restaurant, how he went about greeting a table with concern was not a good start. 2.) if you’re representing the company on the front lines you make it right with guest especially when the business is not the one following food safety guidelines.
Instead of any apology about the poor service and my undercooked food he simple looked at the plate of raw shrimp, said nothing. Let our order taker speak in Spanish to him and all he could offer was to take the shot off….Call me crazy but if you started the conversation in English, why are you switching to Spanish so that I can’t understand you and what being said about an issue that we the guest have? What they don’t know is my friend actually know a good bit of Spanish and she informed me that the server lied and told the manager I ate all my food and that the bartender poured “extra” in our drinks.
If this is how you need to conduct your business to keep the lights on fine. Raw food AND gaslighting lies, that’s a completely different ball park. I am not okay with so since no one did the right thing in that moment. I’m leaving this here to make future dinner aware
FOOD MAY (WILL) BE SERVED TO YOU RAW!!!
There was more I could say
I have Stephania(server) name from the picture below
No name for the manager but an older man whom had on a black shirt with the double GG Gucci belt on. Looks to be around his late 30-early 40s
