11-02-25 we have been there again to try LAMB SHANK & CHELO KABAB Koobideh again, foods are great vibe is friendly and Kati served us perfectly with her nice smile. Check the pix.
8-23-25 we enjoyed two types of juicy and tasty authentic Iranian CHELO KABAB SOLTANI and KOOBIDEH. Kati served the whole saloon alone with a great smile and quick respond on kinda busy Saturday. I was wondering why it’s the first time I am coming to this restaurant which is close to my neighborhood with such a great quality of lamp kababs and service. We will definitely come back and highly recommended. Parking is free and ADA accessible.

I came here with a group to celebrate two birthdays. We started with an eggplant dish, Persian cucumber salad and hummus, all were delicious. Our main was a mixed platter of saffron rice and kabobs. My favorite kabobs was the chicken pieces, second favorite was the lamb. The service was very good and the owners were delightful.

One of my very favorite places to eat. I usually order the chicken thigh kabob. It comes with basmati rice topped with saffron rice and two roasted tomato half’s delicious. For starters they bring hot pitas with goat cheese and a basket of fresh herbs to enjoy. On this visit I had the lunch portion.

I visited this place excited to try their food, but unfortunately the experience was disappointing. The woman at the register who took my order was very rude and disrespectful. She tossed the receipt toward me and said it would be ready in 25 minutes. It ended up taking over 30 minutes, and I had to follow up twice to check on my order. Every-time, i entered without me saying anything she would yell out, “Have a seat, it will be ready in few mins.” Overall, the service was unfriendly and unwelcoming. In addition to that we got completely sonething ele instead of the Kobedah khabab that i had ordered! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!!!

Went on a date with my wife to this restaurant we noticed a while back. Unfortunately, it turned out to be a rather unpleasant experience. The service was slow, especially with a grumpy server initially, and we had to wait quite a bit for everything – from seating to ordering. One server was friendly, but the overall service was poor. The food was okay, and prices were fine, but the restaurant charged us for hot sauce, which felt unusual. Wouldn’t recommend based on the service and the unexpected charges.

I recently dined at Kolbeh and ordered the Chicken Koobideh and Chicken Kabob. Unfortunately, I was disappointed with the marination. It felt like the spices were added after grilling, which affected the overall taste. The rest of the experience was decent, but the marination issue was a letdown.

Funnily enough, the food was so good I forget to take photos of the kebab that came out!
We ordered a few appetizers and a lamb kebab. I LOVED how fresh the herbs were. The cucumber salad was spectacular. The mint, cucumber yogurt was AMAZING. I had never had it before this but I will definitely order it again.
The decor was cute. The ambiance was nice. I actually can’t believe this little gem is tucked away in a little strip mall in Orangevale!
I highly recommend this place if you’re looking for some better than American food!
