Note to the owner: Please TURN ON YOUR AC!! It was so hot in the building that we decided to eat on the rooftop. Also, is there truly no elevator? We had to walk up there with a stroller and I felt bad for our waiter who had to keep walking up and down the stairs.
Now to the customer: The food was great!! We ordered a bunch of different tacos, and truly, they were all worthy of getting seconds. One of my favorite things from the menu was the avocado egg rolls. While it doesn’t sound exciting… it was a party in your mouth. The flavors all come together, especially with the sauces. The drinks are great here too! Even if you don’t finish it by the time you’re done with your meal.. you can ask for a to-go cup to drink while you watch your kids play at the park.

I spent over $100 on a pickup order here and was extremely disappointed. While eating my Gringo taco, I bit down on a hard piece of plastic that was mixed into my food. Thankfully, I didn’t swallow it, but it could’ve caused real harm.
When I told the staff, all they did was apologize—no replacement, no refund, no real concern. I even followed up by emailing the manager, and never received a response.
For a restaurant at this price point, I expected accountability and professionalism. Accidents can happen, but ignoring a safety issue isn’t acceptable. I won’t be back until they take food safety and customer care seriously.

South of the border bowl is not good in my opinion. Flavorless. Weird tamato-ey rice and its way too much rice and not enough of anything else. The chicken had a good flavor but was not cooked all the way and there were maybe like 6 pieces of chicken. Presentation does not look appetizing.The rice is wet and mushy. The flavors just do not go together and I could not enjoy it at all. The tater tots with the queso were good. 3 stars honestly just for the staff they were really nice.

Food was delicious and we were seated quickly. It was very filling and had a lot of flavors. Our server was a white guy and he was nice, but barely checked up on us. He looked angry like he was
going through a hard time. We would come back here again to try other foods also. Definitely recommend.

Really enjoyed the tacos at this spot! The outdoor seating is a perfect place to take in the sights and sounds of the greenspace. Fountain drinks were slightly flat, so not the best if you prefer super fizzy. However the food was wonderful! Thanks!

Neo, our bartender, took care of some excellent margaritas (on the rocks). We both got great protein bowls — wifey had the grilled chicken and I got the steak and they were excellent. Highly recommended.

My boyfriend and I had decided to come here on a day off that we both had shared looking forward to a night out. We were unfortunately disappointed by the lack of care put into the food. My boyfriend‘s tacos were mainly cold as the beef taco that he got was practically cold to the touch with little to no queso. The steak tacos we both also had had decently marinated steak, but it was almost as if it was left out for a long time and had gone cold and rubbery the seafood tacos that we had gone were pretty decent and we’re probably the main caveat of the course,? however it was very little seafood in each of the tacos regardless. My boyfriend‘s Yucca fries were also very cold. I could tell that they were just ready to get out of there as we had gotten there an hour before close but that still no excuse to make food and poor taste, especially if you are still going to charge full price for it. We had tried to speak to a manager about my boyfriend‘s drink, having absolutely no liquor in it, and because we had not wasted it she said that we wouldn’t be able to be reimbursed on a drink that was basically just juice. I find it very inhospitable for them to not even try to accommodate our meals. Just because you guys close earlier in the night it doesn’t mean that the service should become worse as the kitchen begins to close down, even though you’re still open for a full hour.
