Tap and Grill is a great spot to stop for some yummy food. This restaurant is a great stop by boat. Boaters be warned, they do not want you to bring any liquids from your boat into the restaurant (we found out as we were bringing in some items for our 2 year old).
The atmosphere in this restaurant included a large main room with great patio space. It’s very unique to the lake area.
Food here is very good. I recommend the chicken club sandwich. Prices for food range from 15-25 on average. It’s worth noting that while this restaurant is not the most Gluten Griendly, they do make a point to try to accommodate the dietary needs.
I do encourage you to stop in and give Tap and Grill a try.

Great food, great staff, awesome pool! Egg rolls here are to die for, strong must off the appetizer menu. My biggest complaint is you can’t order them outside at the bar, they have a limited menu there.

We had a table of 8 and the restaurant was empty. Service was mediocre and the food was terrible. Undercooked and overcooked depending on whose plate you looked at. For the amount they charge I’d expect a chef back there, not a guy who was more interested in hanging at the bar than preparing our food well. And I’m 99% sure nothing is homemade. Definitely don’t recommend this for dinner. You can find much better prices and food elsewhere

Took the family and friends there for a dinner and the steaks were barely cooked. My family likes their steaks medium well done. They brought out three steaks more raw than my rare steak. We asked the server to have it cooked more. Still they all came back wrong. By this time my family was over it. The manager came out and let us know he would speak to his kitchen staff about the issue but then keeps the steaks on the bill. As we stood up to leave our server told me she has asked the manager to remove the steaks but he refused. I spent $180.00 on steaks that were left uneaten on the table. Really poor management. When you make a mistake own up to it

Tap and Grill is a welcome change from the usual lake front dining at Lake of the Ozarks. It definitely is more upscale than a lot of places you will find on the waterfront and much cleaner. (No sticky tables and chairs!) The food is fresh and portion sizes are good. They have a large beverage menu. Their only vegan option is a salad which I have pictured. It is made with fresh mixed greens and not iceberg lettuce which is much appreciated. The waitress was really accommodating when I asked her to find out what is vegan on their menu. (I always mention how receptive people are about helping me order something vegan because there can be a surprising amount of animosity when trying to order vegan food at restaurants, which is just unnecessary!) All of my friends, non-vegans, ordered anything but a salad and they all like their food and their alcoholic beverages. I rated it four stars because I would like to see more vegan friendly options on the menu other than a salad. Finally, a place on the water that has good food and is clean!

The food was delicious, the service was ok as well. Food was moderately priced. No regular water is served, so you will have to pay 1.50 for a bottled water. The patio opens up to the lake and has a great view. Personally, I would go here in the evening and try out some of their craft beers, eat elsewhere. The menu doesn’t have many options. The brisket burger was good and the only thing I couldn’t easily cook at home myself.

Take your boat, and the girls guide you to a slip and tie you up to the dock.
Get to the pool and find a more middle-aged crowd with less Bachelorette parties but plenty of beautiful people. The vibe here is both fun and more mature…they do a great job of balancing between the two.
Our friends did eat and said the food was middle of the road…not spectacular, but not disappointing either. Lunch menu was priced $20-$30.
The pool has a VIP section that for $1400, you can reserve a cabana for the whole day. The reservation includes a credit towards food and drinks on your return visit.
The General Pool area is a large square with some low water seating. There are multiple granite tables throughout the pool area..that sit right at water height. The swim up bar is covered with 3 TVs and some good bartenders who seemed to handle the crowd well. A DJ plays music that wasn’t trashed hip hop; but popular with everyone.
I recommend Tap and Grill as a stop when visiting Lake of the Ozarks.

We attended a social for our local Realtors board. The food and atmosphere was top quality. The employees were very attentive and helpful. My brother and I were especially appreciative of the cigar collection and that we were allowed to smoke the cigars while sitting around the tiki bar.
I highly recommend you try Tap and Grill if you haven’t already!
