Windy City Burgers earned all five stars and more. The 1/2 lb. burger comes with a fresh baked bun seared in butter. The burger itself is juicy and flavorful. The toppings are very creative. I ordered the Irving which comes with mushrooms, Swiss cheese, grilled onions, Funyons, horseradish and Dijon. I would have preferred the shoestring onions instead, but I get that they added the Funyons for crunch. I couldn’t eat all of a 1/2 pound burger so I got mine in a 1/4 lb size instead & then the $13.95 price included fries and a drink. I’m stuffed!!! The fries are some of the best around. They are hand cut. Someone in another review said they must do magic in the kitchen because the taste is do amazing & I concur. I ordered the plain fries with the kids burger and the garlic parm with the Irving burger. Both were amazing. I’m sure I’ll be dreaming about the fries tonight.
The staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful. I patiently counted down the minutes for Windy City Burgers until they opened at 4:30 pm and called in my order right away. Others must have been waiting for them to open as well because when I got there almost all the tables inside were full. I guess the word is getting out that they have the best burgers & fries in town. I tried out their restaurant because I saw someone else’s post on FB bragging about how good it is. They definitely lived up to all the hype. I’ll be back to try some of the other burgers. Flavors are top notch and you can’t beat the prices.
The restaurant itself is small. But they also have seating outside. I imagine that they turn tables quickly because customers inhale the food it’s so good.

Incredible. The garlic parm fries are what they always should be. Delicious and shaming all others. They are COATED in buttery garlic parm instead of the cheese just falling off the fries.
The burgers are gigantic and full of flavor. We got the Damen and the Sawyer. The street corn spread comes through beautifully in the Damen and the big slab of pork belly in the Sawyer hits how you want it to.
It’s a tiny place, but full of friendly and fun employees that really make you feel comfortable.

Windy City Burgers is an absolute gem! The burgers are huge, flavorful, and clearly made with care — both the patties and buns are made in-house, which really sets them apart. The staff is super friendly and welcoming, creating a great atmosphere that matches the quality of the food. The “Irving Burger” was the best burger I ever had! Fries with sea salt was perfect side to make it a classic. Bri is what makes the front end of this establishment a total success. She’ll be your expansion. The rest of the TEAM was a great compliment to each other. What a chemistry! I love when business functions this well. This was my first time here, and it lived up to everything I had heard! It stared with great and friendly service. I ordered The Hudson — a half-pound protein of choice topped with Applewood smoked bacon, cheddar cheese, onion straws, and BBQ sauce. Absolutely amazing. I also couldn’t pass up the Buffalo Bleu Cheese Fries — hand-cut skinny Idaho potatoes, twice fried, then piled high with bleu cheese crumbles, Buffalo bleu sauce, and onion straws. Hands down, some of the best fries I’ve had anywhere.One thing to note: seating is limited both inside and outside. I wouldn’t plan to bring more than 2–4 people. If you do come with four, expect a possible wait. Many people grab their food to go. It is a little pricey, but what isn’t now. This will definitely not be my last visit. In my opinion, it’s the best burger spot in Greenville!

The buns are fresh and hold up well, and the fries are just as delicious. The staff is super friendly and makes you feel welcome every time. 1st time in Greenville and this was our 1st meal. The owner was so friendly and the food was amazing. Burgers are huge and juicy with great flavor. The garlic dipping sauce was my favorite for the delicious fries. Surprised with a tiny chocolate at the end to hit that sweet tooth.

Windy City Burgers is easily the best burger I’ve had. My family agreed that this is a tasty burger spot. The service was fun and informative. Their food is fresh, tasty and worth the price point. I tried the jalapeño burger burger special ( cant remember the actual name) and it was unique and full of flavor. Take the recommendations when offered the staff will not steer you wrong. Everything about this spot is outstanding. Will return when back in Greenville. What a gem

Did not know what to expect, it is off the beaten path but the food was wonderful, the vibe was contagious, and very clean. To top it off the had an impossible burger. The only side is fries but they were also good. Will visit again.
