Took the wife and granddaughter out tonight for supper. We were the first customer’s in the restaurant tonight. Food ordered:
#1 Chislic ordered medium arrived at the table well done and cold. Fries were done but also cold.
#2 Prime rib sandwich was cold with cold sweet potato fries.
#3 Ground sirloin steak
Ordered medium rare arrived at the table well done and cold, with garlic mashed potatoes so cold they would not melt the patty of butter when it pushed it into the potatoes.
We brought this the there attention and was told they would talk to the kitchen but did not offer any discount and then had the audacity to ask if we would like to leave a tip.
This is so unlike Mad Marys where we have purchased well over a 100 meals, over the years we have been eating there. Not sure if this was new staff or what but we are definitely disappointed with the visit. 75.⁰⁰ down the drain

Mad Mary’s Steak House is a gem! The prime rib was tender, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. The fried pickles were the perfect appetizer—crispy and full of flavor. Service was quick, and the beers were ice cold, just the way they should be. Highly recommend for a fantastic dining experience!

Tonight’s meal was super disappointing
The usually tender and tasty prime rib – the reason my husband loves to go there-was very tough. Mine was medium and my husbands was medium rare as ordered – both were unchewable. The person who checked us out said “sometimes you get what you get “. They at least didn’t charge for the shrimp cocktail because it wasn’t served before the meal even when we ordered and asked that it would be served as an appetizer
And due to the restaurant not being able to pay their taxes and liquor license, they are not serving alcohol.
Oh and we also were pressed to leave a tip…needless to say that was not met kindly by my husband-and he is always a generous tipper
We will not be back soon

I felt Mad Mary’s had a great atmosphere and the staff were very friendly and helpful. I had the ribeye. It was tasty, but I didn’t feel as if it was a prime cut, maybe select or choice. The ribs were okay, and the shrimp and potato were spot on. But overall, it was worth the money spent, and I would go again.

Very welcoming small-town steakhouse! We had the portobello mushrooms as an appetizer, and they were fantastic! For dinners, the special ribeye marinated in bourbon and brown sugar and a prime rib. Both were great, though mine came out more medium than medium rare as I requested, but still delicious! We had the chicken and wild rice soup, which was amazing and so were the garlic mashed potatoes. Great service as well. Would definitely return when in the area again.

The prime rib is absolutely to die for. It’s the only thing I order, every time! Sadly, the last two times they had forgotten to add my onions and mushrooms to my prime rib. One time I ordered to go (18 miles away) and didn’t realize until we got home. I contacted them and they were super accommodating and refunded me as well as added our gas for the trip! The second time we were dining in and they brought them out once we noticed and asked. always add the mushrooms and onions!! Prices are right, food is fantastic. Best prime around.

It was all fine. It was cooked the way we ordered. Service was good. The food just didn’t have a lot of flavor. The beans had the most flavor. I would go back if friends wanted to go there. But i won’t make a special trip like this was for us.

An OUTSTANDING find in a small town! From the minute we entered we were treated to excellent service and BEAUTIFUL river views! We went several times while we were in town and every meal was AMAZING! Nice selection of beer including some craft choices. Treat yourself and head to MAD MARY’S you’ll be so glad you did!

Had a delicious anniversary meal at Mad Mary’s. The Prime Rib and Bacon Wrapped Filet Mignon were both delicious and cooked beautifully. We ended the meal with a Grasshopper. Absolutely delicious!
