We like the food. This location doesn’t quite have the atmosphere of the Dover location. The food is tasty as always, but could use a bit more toppings and sauces.Next time, I will request more red sauce on the chicken enchiladas because there wasn’t enough. The taco did not have tomatoes, so my wife cut up the slice of tomato that came with the enchiladas.

We went on a Sunday around 7:30. There was maybe about 3 other small families with us in the building. Our waiter took forever to come to the table each time. The meat in all of our meals wasn’t seasoned, many things just were lacking flavor. The atmosphere was nice and cozy, just wish the food & service were better.

Been here many times. Usually it’s amazing. Food is good and service is usually fairly quick. We went again on cinco de mayo and it was really bad. It took just shy of 30
Minutes to get my drink. The food came out and there were many orders messed up. Our waiter was also bar tending which seemed odd. When we were done, the waiter took almost 15 minutes to bring the check and then when I gave him my card he went away with it for over 5 minutes and then came back. This may be a place to go during none peak times, just stay away when they are busy.

First time being here was last night 11/10/25. Was really looking forward to going to a place that is less than a mile from home. All the staff were very kind but service was VERY slow. A big party came in so we were trying to be patient. Food took forever and my nachos were extremely salty. Didn’t eat them. My husband liked his dish. Again, the wait time spoiled the evening. Hoping this was just an off night and we may go back but I’m on the fence.

Little hole in the wall location in strip of stores. You have to look for this place or you will drive right by it. But the food was Outstanding! Everything was so good. And the prices are very reasonable.

Positives:

Explanation behind negatives:
I took off 2 stars because the food taste is what really matters. Food can look and smell amazing but, if it doesn’t taste great then it doesn’t matter. I provided a picture of my meal. Looked great. That’s it.
The 2 burritos and chalupa I tried looked great but lacked flavor. The beef wasn’t really seasoned at all and it was wrapped in a watery tortilla that made it look doughy. Maybe it was possibly being a bad night or something for the cook as I found myself dousing the food in their hot sauce just to taste something.
So 3 stars for now, until I come back for round 2. Definitely not a bad restaurant, I’ll try the fajitas next time and if they taste better, I’ll up it to 4 stars.

Service from Beatriz was ok–started off slow but we both were smiling at the end. The food was fabulous! We ordered many different items from menu to “try” a little of everything. Flavors were very tasty. I felt like the fajita lettuce tray was lime spritzed. So fresh! Del Mar Fajitas were very colorful & cooked to perfection! Can’t wait to visit again!!! Gracias!

Trying not to dump totally but. The server had zero customer service experience. He did try although. The steak meal was ordered for “medium well.” Out came the sizzling plate with an overcooked, and too done piece of meat. Apparently a side salad, “Mexican Style”, is a small plate with a small portion and I do mean miniscule of shredded iceberg on the bottom and hardly noticeable as it’s layered on top with piled green peppers, not cut apart, and mushrooms. The “side salad” was visually unappealing and not conducive for consumption. We asked to have the meat taken away and returned for a “medium well” version. The meat came back almost literally raw, unseasoned and cutting it was difficult with the dull steak knife provided. BTW, we had to ask for a steak cutting knife as one did not come with the meal. The Margarita was mediocre. My mother’s birthday meal was a bust. She couldn’t eat anything. The manager was summoned. He explained he would take off the meal, “only this 1 time”, from the bill. Customer Service 101, make sure the guest is happy. Maybe an apology. Oh, and in all the confusion with my mom’s meal. I think my meal was supposed to have guacamole, but it didn’t. At that point an exit was my only thought.
