Worked a 12 hour shift got off work and was hoping to get some dinner from here to take home. Ordered my food and was told to wait in the front. Watched 5 other cars before me get their food. I went inside to ask where my food was and found out that my order was completely forgotten. Wasted 40 minutes of my time waiting and had to wait longer due to my order not being cooked. Employee didnt even apologize for keeping me waiting so long. I get home and my taco is almost burnt but the other food was fine. When I go earlier in the day it is usually fine but only younger Employees were there when I went in the afternoon. Probably will never return due this experience.

I have tried this place twice and I can say without a doubt don’t waste your time. The food is horrible both times it was burnt. The sad part is they don’t seem to care. Will definitely not go back.

Overall a good place. Food was good and well priced. The lady working behind the counter assumed I didn’t know Spanish and called me wedo and maricon while speaking to our waitress as I was leaving.

Great find! My son and his friend came in to visit from San Antonio and wanted to try some Mexican food here. We found Mexico Express and we were not disappointed. Everyone came away happy. The food was delicious and the employees were so kind.

I’m from OK but spent childhood summers in south Texas. I wanted some legit Mexican food and this was it. My husband and BIL about died from the jalapeños (comedy of the night), but the food was everything I was craving!

If you care about salsa – it is not served cold, it is a cooked/warm salsa but it’s blended so not chunky. This is not our preferred type, but it wasn’t bad. We had a table of 4 and was given one small bowl with a spoon in it for the entire table. The chips were warm and crunchy, but our second batch was overcooked/brown. Queso is white cheese and good flavor, also very affordable compared to other restaurants, it was only $2.50. They have a large menu and every dish has a photo included so you know exactly what you’re ordering. I thought that was pretty cool. Food was very flavorful, large portions, and affordable. Despite the salsa not being my fave, I’d go back for the food!

I had the super breakfast tacos and they were super good! Also I love how they have the Mexicans sodas. Idk why but Sprite in a glass bottle is sooo good. Staff was really friendly and super helpful. Drive thru took about 20 minutes around 9am but it was worth it.

Great local spot. Good tacos. Great service. Four mini tacos, charro beans, chips and salsa and a beer for 20 bucks. Can’t beat that deal.
