Honestly the food was really good, i tried the tacos, bampazo and mole and it was hands down some of the best food I’ve had.

If you’re looking for a family owned and operated Mexican restaurant in Mesquite/Garland this is the place to go to! The food was absolutely delicious. I enjoyed the tacos de carne asada, they were so good. I went with two friends and we all tried different plates and every single one of them was made fresh and extra savory. The pambazo & mole enchiladas are highly recommended. All our sides, salsa dip, guac were fresh and made to order. The chips were thick and good quality, the salsa has just the right amount of kick to it. The server we had was very attentive. I would give this restaurant 10 stars if I could!

I’ve never had flavorless Mexican food in my life… doesn’t even have a smell to it smh. Pure disappointment at its finest. The birria tacos were soft and sitting in grease. The meat had no flavor. Tried adding salt and both salsas and that’s the only flavor it had. The beans were literally out the can taste. Even a child said, “The meat doesnt have flavor. All I taste is cheese.” Waiting for the ticket to come, I had no aftertaste lingering in my mouth at all. Needless to say, we left there still hungry and ended up at the gas station for real tacos. How this place has high rating is completely beyond me. Fool me once trust it won’t happen again at this place. Definitely 0 out of 10 rating.

I was working in town so I came in for a breakfast burrito. They were very accommodating with my custom order. It was a breakfast burrito with chorizo, bacon, nopales and fries. If you’re lucky, mini Maria will take your order and mama Maria will cook your food.
The joint is small but clean. There are only four tables and the drink fridge is right behind one of them. I can’t wait to come back and try something else from the kitchen wizard!

Had the pastor and fajita tacos with Horchata to drink. The food was really good and they had a really spicy red sauce; which is great at a Mexican restaurant. The horchata tasted authentic, none of that powdered stuf. The tortillas looked handmade.

This place is more of a to go restaurant. They have a couple of tables but not ideal for big groups. However the food was amazing. I had a mollete de chorizo and boy…the beans are seasoned to perfection. Customer service was also a huge plus!

There are maybe 3 or 4 tables. You will be very well cared for, the food is excellent, the red sauce is by God hot, the green sauce is awesome, it’s a family run restaurant who could use your business, and they will treat you like they could use your business. It’s a little tiny place in a strip mall, set your expectations appropriately.
Note, no restroom.
