We came for a birthday dinner for my Uncle. My husband, my uncle and I each had a different boil and all 3 were excellent, food was cooked to perfection quickly and the wait staff was very attentive. Great experience.

Though the menu is full of options, the seafood boils are what I really come for. I like getting the mixture of seafood, potatoes, corn on the cob, and sausage. I enjoy the different sauce, seasoning, and degrees of spicy available. Good beer specials let me kick back a bit without breaking the bank.
This restaurant is appropriately priced, and is not where you go for a cheap date. The food is fresh and we aren’t near the ocean, so that comes with a cost. It has become a go-to for birthday celebrations with the family and taking clients out for dinner who aren’t in the mood for a steakhouse.
The interior is suitably designed for a seafood joint. A bit corny, but it works for overall impressions. Though pricey, this restaurant is not fancy (I mean that positively). I’ve been known to go in jeans, work attire, or even after the gym if I didn’t feel like changing. I was not out of place on any occasion.
No service issues to speak of but I’ve never been when it has been slammed. I’m always greeted upon entering and my table service has never left me wanting.
I’m giving five stars, not because it’s the best meal I’ve ever had, but because it matches my expectations every visit. I’ve been a very satisfied customer each visit and the experience has become predictable, which I prefer.

I’ve been here a handful of times and everytime the food and overall experience is IMMACULATE!
The food is cooked to perfect and you don’t even need to try to get the crab meat out. Every piece came out in a solid chunk *chefs kiss*.
Their wings are amazing too. Crunchy and juicy. Also huge and not fatty.
Highly recommend trying this place if you haven’t been!

Loved this place ! Prices were fair, and seafood was really good. We ordered a mixture of crab, lobster,crawfish, and mussels. The butter garlic seasoning on it was so yummy! I ordered a pink starburst drink which was pretty good too. Sweet, but good.

Wow Red Crab in Danville, Va disappointed us tonight!!! Hubby’s birthday wanted to take him out and where he want to go? “RED CRAB” So we get there get seated and literally sit there for about 20 mins. Not a we will be right with you, not a can I get you a drink 1st and then I will come back and take your order, nothing!! So what we do get up.and leave and my husband kindly told them their service sucked tonight. Hopefully we can salvage his birthday celebration.

I truly like to give every place the benefit of the doubt, however, this restaurant wasn’t up to any standards. We went for lunch, there wasn’t many people there. It took a long time to get our food. My catfish could have been any boxed fish. Our food wasn’t very hot. We couldn’t get the attention of the server for drink refills. I would definitely not recommend. If the food tastes like boxed, it will never taste any better.
