Absolutely outstanding gluten free fine dining experience. Everything we ordered felt thoughtful and high quality, easily matching top restaurants from both the suburbs and the city. The cheese and cured meat selection was unforgettable, truly some of the finest flavors I have ever tasted. The filet arrived perfectly cooked and full of flavor, and the drinks were smooth, balanced, and enjoyable from the first sip to the last. Can I just say this restaurant was the best place I ate at in Crystal Lake Illinois. The owner Rhienna was such a delight to meet and talk with, she has a menu that is creative and wonderfully memorable. The bartender Brent, was a gentle soul with the perfect pour. He was so much fun to talk to, super great energy. Stay awesome man. Erik, who is the Wine & Spirits Director was so knowledgeable about his spirits, he showed us a 40 year aged Port wine which was absolutely delicious. Thank you for that unforgettable experience Erik. Now let’s talk about the food… DELICIOUS, EVERY SINGLE THING. I ordered the Lamb meatballs for an appetizer and one to go because I’ve never had a meatball that was so delicious in my life. Next I ordered the Mahi, which was served over a bed of mashed black beans. I was a little hesitant about that combo but DAMN was it DELICIOUS. The fish was prepared perfectly, so juicy and tender which paired perfectly with the beans. The meal was perfect, I wouldn’t change a thing. So big shout out to Jill Vedaa, Gaston and Lucas, that kitchen cranks out some heat. I should’ve came here everyday while I was out in Crystal lake, that’s my only regret. Can’t wait to be in their area again to dine here and have great conversation with great people.

We had the most wonderful experience thanks to our server, Josh. From the moment we sat down, he was warm, attentive, and genuinely invested in making our night special. Every recommendation was spot on, he checked in at the perfect times without ever hovering, and his friendliness made us feel so welcomed.
You can tell he truly loves what he does — the kind of service that elevates an entire meal. The food was amazing, but his energy and professionalism was what made the evening unforgettable. We left talking about how we can’t wait to come back!

This is the best place for gluten free fine dining in the area. The food is amazing and rivals any place in the suburbs as well as many in the city. The charcuterie board was to die for, some of the best cheese I’ve ever had. The fillet was cooked perfectly and the drinks were balanced and went down smooth. I highly recommend you try this place if you haven’t.

Really nice find! Intimate setup and a nice cozy bar to wait at until you get seated. The staff is very friendly and take great care of you.
The atmosphere is very nice, we just got seated right by the entrance (with a reservation) and it wasn’t the same as it would be further inside. But the rest of the spots looked very comfortable and nice.
Starters – We started with the Charcuterie and onion rings. They both were good, wish the charcuterie had a bit more quantity of meat – there were 4 of us and we did not each get a piece to sample. There were only 2 types with 2 pieces. But the cheeses were plenty and very good! The hot jelly and mustard , very tasty and enhanced the flavors.
Drinks- Recommend the margarita with pickle juice , the spicy old fashioned was very diluted with ice and the Manhatten decent.
The seasonal salad was good if you like your salad sweet. A bit too sweet for my liking.
The main courses were excellent! We had the hangar steak (x2) , the filet and the short ribs. Highly recommend them all. They were perfectly cooked, the accompaniments very flavorful and was some of the best dinner we have had in a while.
Definitely worth a visit. If you are looking for a good steak, check this place out!

All the food was delightful and most importantly for me, Gluten Free. The server also let me know me of what had dairy on the menu when I asked, which makes it much easier for me to order. She knew upfront and didn’t have to check, which was great.
The margarita was fabulous- while being strong it was still delicious and smooth.
Our server was very professional, courteous and polite, but there were some complications with the menu/kitchen/bar service taking longer than expected. Luckily we were not in a rush and the atmosphere was modern and trendy, which we enjoyed while waiting.
Edit 9/17/23: have been back regularly for take out, always happy. Also returned for my sisters birthday dinner and I appreciated that they let me bring a gluten & dairy free cake in (they only allow non gluten items in and made sure of that – I appreciated that too) they even took it to the back and brought it out with a beautiful gold candle. When I let them know I was dairy free they were also very sure to tell me if anything had dairy in it and had allergy sticks in all my meals to assure me I know they were conscious of it.

My husband and I celebrated our wedding anniversary last night, and enjoyed every minute of our experience. We devoured the prawns as an appetizer, and had perfectly prepared filets for the main course. The NA spirits here are fantastic, I tried two of their mocktails and loved both. I also love seeing local options on the menu, including the breweries, Conscious Cup and Julie Ann’s custard. The service is always thoughtful and right on time! Thank you for a memorable evening!

Five stars all around for this wonderful restaurant! As first time diners we weren’t sure what to expect as all dishes are gluten-free, however every dish was delicious and satisfying. Our party started with 2 very tasty appetizers of Mussels and Cheese Curds. We then enjoyed the House and Seasonal Salads, both having a wonderful honey mustard vinaigrette. For an added touch, the Seasonal Salad was topped with goat cheese. I can’t say enough about our entrees. Not only were the presentations well done, all tasted as wonderful as they looked! The Skate Wing with Snap Peas was a mild white meat fish, with caper brown butter sauce. The Short Rib was perfectly done and topped with brown sugar glaze. The Hanger Steak, ordered medium rare, had a roasted peppered chutney, charred on the outside, and two roasted whipped sweet potatoes. Our meal was topped off with the Julian’s Frozen Custard dessert and espresso. The restaurant itself is somewhat small, with a cozy and charming feel to it so reservations are a must! Our service thruout the evening was exceptional so kudos to the attentive staff. A final note there is additional parking across the street so take advantage when the main lot is full. Will definitely be dining here again!

Amazing birthday dinner! The food was excellent , so much flavor and paired well with our cocktails and wine. Our server Kelly was kind, and informative and made us feel welcomed as if we were regulars visiting, we definitely will be now. I can’t wait to visit again! The owner also stopped by our table to check in often which made the dinner extra special. Safe for celiac disease, and truly that in itself was a peace of mind to enjoy a beautiful dinner without the worry of cross contamination. Thank you!
