I wholeheartedly recommend this establishment. The food was so outstanding that I barely paused to take a photo—every dish was simply incredible. Beyond the cuisine, the owners, staff, and talented chefs exude genuine passion and hospitality, making this restaurant a true standout in the industry.
We started with a couple of appetizers, which were fresh, flavorful, and a perfect start to the meal. The highlight of the night was the Oxford Burger—perfectly cooked, juicy, and packed with flavor. Every bite was delicious, and it was clear that a lot of care goes into their ingredients and preparation.
Beyond the food, the location itself is great—comfortable, stylish, good vibes. an excellent dining experience. We’ll definitely be back! Highly recommend!
The food was comically flavorless. The spicy edamame tasted like nothing. Not even salt. There were 2 pieces at the very end which were spicy. Chicken bao was dry. Pork bao was juicy, well cooked but flavorless. Coconut shrimp bao was extremely coconutty (thank god bc that was the only flavor we had) shisito peppers, ricotta board, seared tuna and watermelon salad were all fine, but each seemed to be lacking spice/flavoring.
The pasta flight was why we went. The first pasta was pasta and squash. It tasted like straight pasta, with pasta water sauce and regular squash flavor. Lacked butter and literally all seasoning. The second one was a bow tie pasta in crème sauce. A little better but still very bland. The third pasta was rigitoni w tomato sauce. The sauce tasted like ketchup. It was honestly comical. We were hoping that there would be a coconut dessert on the menu as that’s where they seem to know how to add flavor and were disappointed and got the affogato which was good.
At the end of the day the bill was $240 after tip. Safe to say we will not be back.
1. The drinks took SO long to get to our table. Usually this doesn’t phase us because we’re talking, catching up etc, so when we actually feel and notice how long the drinks/food is taking, know that it’s been abnormally long.
2. We were talking to our server about appetizers, which ones to get, which ones we were thinking about etc…a lot of back and forth, a lot of debating (server was very helpful) and then when we finally settled on what we wanted he goes, “The kitchen requests you put in your appetizers and entrees at the same time.” Sir, you could have started with that so we didn’t just waist 10 minutes of everyone’s time. It was very apparent we hadn’t thought about entrees yet.
3. We ordered the brie with honey appetizer (picture attached – keep in mind the two strips were also very thin) and the portion was so small, It was borderline insulting. I couldn’t keep a straight face.
4. I ordered a burger, medium rare, it came well done.
5. My friend ordered the seared tuna, she tried it, it had a strange taste, so I tried it, and unfortunately couldn’t eat it. It was bad. We politely told the waiter, repeatedly said it was not a big deal blah blah blah, the waiter leaves (without taking the dish away) and comes back to say, “The chef said he just took it out of the package.” Another laughable moment. The manager did eventually come out and right the wrong, which we were thankful for.
Overall, the food/portion sizes were very underwhelming for the price and drinks and aesthetic can’t make up for that.
