We arrived in parking lot 10 mins early and politely asked if they’re open. The people at the front kindly let us in knowing it was cold outside. The seating area is very nice and warm feeling. We have our orders but my girlfriend changed her mind and the waiter was very nice to help change our order. The food we ordered came in quick and fresh as we expected it to be. No flaws, only a good time and a full tummy!

The sushi rice was very lightly chewy and was a delight to eat. The red tuna tasted fresh and just right. Everything was beautiful and was so much better than I’m used to getting at the all-you-can-eat places (which are great, but they have to bang out sushi and rolls at a crazy pace so it loses some of the beauty a lot of the time).
We ordered a medium sushi and rolls platter and shared between two people.
A great meal and lovely people working the space.

Staff was very friendly and efficient. They answered my inquiry of Mirin usage (they don’t use it) over the phone kindly and with knowledge of their own product. Atmosphere was the best I’ve ever had a sushi restaurant. There was a nice 2 seater for my wife and I with a privacy screen. Loved it! Also they have popular anime figurines in the shop lol.

We’ve been going to Joya for many years. The food is high quality. You can go to an all-you-can-eat, but the quality is not the same as Joya. Prices are reasonable, portions are good, atmosphere is nice, and the owners and staff are wonderful hard-working people. We’ve tried other places and even if they are good, nothing compares to Joya Sushi in Hamilton!

This cozy restaurant has both Korean & Japanese dishes which is nice for the variety. In my opinion it is a slightly higher price point than average Korean/ Japanese restaurants. But the service was great & the quality of food was also good. The complimentary miso soup is a very nice touch. I would definitely come back to this restaurant.

Joya has been one of my favourite sushi restaurants for years now. The food is absolutely amazing and the it’s the freshest sushi I’ve had in Hamilton. It’s a great lunch spot and is good for dinner too. The best thing on the menu is the Agedashi tofu, we can’t leave without ordering it. The staff is wonderful and there is always nice music playing. Overall I recommend Joya!!!!

This is my favourite sushi restaurant in Hamilton. Much better than other all you can eat options. Well priced. Very clean and has a nice family feel to it. I know the Hamilton food scene well and this is one of the gems. Take out is great , but prefer sit in.
