Service was lighting fast. Food was sublime. Staff was Fantastic. Very nice place to eat, was throughly impressed across the board. My only complaint is having to pay up front. I think it unnecessarily hurts the class of any business.

Highly disappointed in this place. Had heard about it for years and finally was in the area when they were open. Food was bland with no seasoning. Ribeye at $45 was $10-$15 more than what you would pay at Texas Roadhouse or Colton’s and they actually have good food. The single roll served with the main plate was the same thing you buy frozen at the grocery store.

My chicken fried steak was very crispy with very little meat. The white gravy was sausage gravy. My friend ordered the fried chicken special of the day. The second piece of chicken was ice cold in the middle like the chicken had been refrigerated. My friend’s meal was comped. Our waitress didn’t come back to refill our drinks. A different waitress brought our food and comped the meal. Do not recommend eating here.

100% better than Colton’s in West plains. This place was delicious the only problem was that they couldn’t figure out the difference between the bison burger and what my husband ordered the beast burger. So the brought my husband the bison burger instead but fixed the mix up and brought him the beast burger and they allowed him to keep both burgers. Customer service was good as well. I will have to try dessert next time.

After a long haul and a day’s work that’d put most folks in the dirt, I rolled into Cattleman’s Steak House lookin’ for a meal that could match my appetite—and they mostly delivered.
The portions here are downright massive. Started with the tater skins appetizer, and that plate could’ve fed half a branding crew—crispy, cheesy, loaded with bacon, just the way it oughta be. I went with the hamburger, and it was top-notch—thick, juicy, cooked right, and tasted like real beef, not some frozen patty. My buddy had the cheesesteak sandwich, and it was a solid choice too—plenty of meat, good flavor, hearty bread.
Now, for the one misstep: the rice pilaf. Lord have mercy, that stuff tasted like it came outta an old lady’s underwear drawer—straight-up mothball flavor. Not sure what went sideways there, but it ain’t fit for a ranch dog, let alone a hungry cowboy.
Still, the meat is quality, the portions are generous, and the staff know what they’re doing. It’s a little pricey, sure, but you get what you pay for—and with the size of those plates, you won’t leave hungry.
Big bonus: plenty of room for truck and trailer parking. That’s a rare find these days, and it makes this spot a real convenient stop for folks like me out on the road.
Four stars strong. Just skip the pilaf and stick to the beef.

We ate there on Sunday, they had raised prices again! The salad bar was a mess and practically empty! The shredded beef on my Stuffed Spud tasted sour. No paper towels in the restroom. Located in a poor small town, I feel their pricing is keeping most locals from eating there.

Horrible service!!! We ate there tonight. Our waitress was rude and hateful as soon as she realized we had a party of 11. Drinks were not refilled and plates were not removed when we finished eating. She discouraged us from ordering the special. She said the chicken was not good and overcooked.Two of us changed our order and ordered cheeseburgers. One was well done and one was medium rare. When food came out, waitress started throwing food down and not checking who had what. Neither of us got the right cheeseburger. After requesting one cheeseburger be removed from our ticket due to being overcooked. The waitress tried to overcharge us for the wine we ordered which should have been happy hour prices. Her attitude was awful the entire time she waited on us. Several of us at the table have waited tables and there was no reason for our waitress to be so rude and annoyed with our large group. There is a way to go about things and if I owned your business she would not be waiting tables in my restaurant. I also caught her bad mouthing our table when I came around the corner to go to the restroom. I have never in my life left a review but this experience was bad enough to leave one. Absolutely no class.

Seated immediately. Ordered fairly quickly. No rolls given til after food arrived. (7 other tables got rolls that came in after us.) Waited an hour for our food. Was Luke warm. Steak was burnt on the outside, rare on the inside. (Medium was requested.) Service was mediocre, and constantly made excuses instead of trying to address concerns.

The staff was friendly, and sat us right away even though they were really busy. Caitrin was our waitress. She was amazing. While serving a table of 13 3 being toddlers, lol. She was able to deliver our needs on time every time. Our food was absolutely delicious. The rolls had garlic butter on top that just made the meal perfect. The atmosphere was beautiful. The floors, tables, and walls were all clean. We were very pleased and would come back for any occasion.
