I don’t even think I have the right words to express how amazing this place truly is, Our waitress was super friendly took the time to talk and joke around with us, The food was phenomenal I never thought a salad could taste so good and the Chicken Parmesan I had was so good the portion size was very generous.

My husband and I celebrated our wedding reception in October 2025 at The Grand Chalet. We have been customers here for the past few years and have always throughly enjoyed our meals! When researching where to host our reception we learned The Grand Chalet had a banquet hall on the top floor. We met with Dominic (the owner) for a tour and instantly fell in love with the space. It was the perfect amount of rustic with a old Italian vibe. Dominic was wonderful in the planning leading up to our day. He was always quick to answer any of our questions and very compromising to ensure the day went exactly as he hoped. The food provided at our wedding was fantastic (we chose this place for a reason!) and we received many compliments. We were able to transform the room bringing in our decorations to give a beautiful fall theme and the room looked amazing. Everyone loved it and found the space to be unique, warm and so welcoming. We would highly recommend having any special events at The Grand Chalet! Dominic thank you again for all your efforts! Having our wedding at The Grand Chalet was everything we hoped for and more!

Wr had a wonderful dinner at the Grand Chalet, Milton. The seafood appetizer is delicious and there is plenty to share. We had the house salad with their home made red wine vinegar and again plenty to share with. The pasta special was spaghetti with pancheta and vegetables in a rose sauce WOW! I’ve carried on about the meal but our server Julia was just as excellent, popped over when needed she kept a watchful eye on us and brought our meals all in a slow but timely manner, great job Julia! This is a must for anyone who hasn’t visited The Grand Chalet. Bon Appetit

First time ever. Who would have known this gem was there. Went to a family celebration and servers were polite and accommodating plus attentive. The place was decked out and prepared for us. The food was very flavourful and plentiful. Antipastos’, lamp spiedini, roasted vegetables, great. Pasta a knock out. The main perfection, steaks were done to perfection. Thank you so much for the great meal and service.

We had a family birthday dinner there on December 6 th for 12 people family style and the food and service was wonderful. Ella our server was efficient and lots of fun. We enjoyed our leftover take out the next day. We will definitely be back. Many thanks for the great service.

My girlfriends and I have been coming here for years – the food is great and priced accordingly. I wanted my boyfriend to try it so we went. Unfortunately when the girl asked if we had a reservation and we didn’t – she seamed like she didn’t want us to stay. The restaurant had one large party of folks but besides that it was pretty empty. We said if you’re busy with the large party we will have some drinks until they are all served. We waited and waited and sat ourselves by the table at the entrance. Then a father and son came and were asked if they had reservations and they didn’t- they were escorted to the dining room without any issues….Then another girl came and took our drink orders and explained that the kitchen is busy and there would be a wait – we were okay with this. When we were served our drinks we noticed the father and son were being served food….after sharing a bottle of wine the father and son were leaving the restaurant and we still had not ordered our dinner…..not sure why we were treated this way. I know my one star is not going to affect this restaurant because they don’t care because they know they have good food. But my point is; wouldn’t it be good to also boast of having good customer service and kindness?

This restaurant came recommended from a family member. A very busy venue that was turning away people. Our group had reservations. The food choices were excellent tasting with generous portions. I had and recommend the Linguine Pescatore. One of the best I tasted. Our table location was near the restaurant entrance and the constant customer traffic did not make it a pleasant atmosphere.

Came here for the first time with the wife earlier this evening. The decor is old school but don’t be fooled. The food is absolutely delicious! We had their special 16oz steak with penne alla vodka to share.
Everything was well seasoned and flavourful! The portions sizes were great for sharing. The service was excellent and all staff were very friendly. My only complaint is that I would say that it is on the pricier side when it comes to the cost but when you don’t go out for dinner too often it’s not too bad. Overall it was a great dining experience and we will definitely be returning back! Highly recommend and a must visit for amazing Italian food in Milton!
