Whether you are heading out to the quiet nestled town of Winthrop on the beach, hopping out of the T into the heart of East Boston, or to the bustling busy streets of Revere, you will find a D’Parma Restaurant to welcome you with open arms. 20 years ago, I decided to bring that little taste of Italy from the north end to our home town of Winthrop, we shouldn’t have to travel far for good food and here my family and I strive to do just that. We are a family run and operated business that serves fresh food on a daily basis seven days a week. Delicious food is made with quality products, freshest ingredients, and friendly service. We care about the food we serve, so bring your family to meet my family and enjoy!

Dining at this Italian restaurant was like being welcomed into a warm family kitchen, filled with love, comfort, and the irresistible aroma of home-cooked meals. From the moment I walked through the doors, the cozy atmosphere, rustic décor, and attentive staff created an inviting environment that immediately made me feel at home.

The highlight of my visit was undoubtedly the Nonna Soup, a dish that perfectly captured the heart and soul of traditional Italian cooking. Served piping hot, the soup was rich, hearty, and layered with flavors that spoke of slow cooking and generations of culinary wisdom. Each spoonful was a comforting blend of tender vegetables, perfectly seasoned broth, and delicate pasta pieces that added substance and texture. What impressed me most was how balanced the soup was—savory, wholesome, and nourishing, without being heavy. It truly felt like something a loving grandmother would prepare with care, hence the name Nonna Soup.

Alongside the soup, I enjoyed freshly baked bread that was warm, crusty on the outside, and soft on the inside, perfect for dipping and soaking up the flavorful broth. This simple yet thoughtful pairing elevated the experience and made the dish even more satisfying.

The service throughout the meal was exceptional. The staff were friendly, attentive, and passionate about the food, offering recommendations with genuine enthusiasm. They made sure everything was perfect, from the wine pairing to the timing of each course.

What makes this restaurant stand out is not just the food but the feeling it creates. It’s more than a meal—it’s an experience that blends tradition, flavor, and hospitality into something memorable. The Nonna Soup alone is worth coming back for, but with such a thoughtfully crafted menu, I know every dish will tell its own delicious story.

Not our first visit to the local restaurant. It was quiet with a few other people. The server was friendly as was the host who also returned later to refill our water glasses. The food is very good and moderately priced. We both opted for eggplant rolls to share and salads. Chef salad for me and a Greek salad for my partner, with grilled chicken. Both were fresh and delicious and also an ample portion.

Service was great, but food is not good. I got chicken broccoli Alfredo. There is absolutely no seasoning. Not even a HINT of garlic or salt. It was definitely sauce from a jar and frozen broccoli. Portions were nice, too bad the food wasn’t up to par. We threw our leftovers away

The chicken cutlet salad was oddly satisfying. Very good chicken cutlet to say the least. Service was ok, I liked that they brought us bread and oil to snack on. Again, I would recommend the chicken cutlet salad, though I can’t speak for the rest of the menu. Nice atmosphere too and very close to the beach.

D’Parma delivers exactly what you want from a local Italian spot. The food is fresh, portions are generous, and the staff makes the experience easy and enjoyable. It’s not trying to be North End fine dining, but it doesn’t need to be. It’s one of those places you’re glad to have right here in Winthrop.

I order D’Parmas religiously from revere or I go to the one in East Boston. So my parents went to D’Parmas in Winthrop because they live there and I wasn’t feeling good so they dropped off some food to me. I had them order me ziti alfredo with chicken cutlet. Tell me why it looked so dry you could choke on it. I am posting a picture of how I received it and a picture of when I order it from another location. What a huge difference. Never again Winthrop! What a huge disappointment especially for the price I pay for your food, this is unacceptable!

Our waitress was amazing, food was fast and fresh, I don’t have a photo of it, because I ate it to quickly.
Chicken palm, side salad was, lobster ravioli and caprese salad was wild.
Definitely don’t sleep on this spot. Mom and pop kitchen, amazing food.
