I placed an online order for a Biggie Bag (around $8). The app didn’t give me any option to add sauce, so when I picked it up, I politely asked the employee for a BBQ sauce. She handed it to me without hesitation — great customer service, simple and easy.
Immediately after, the manager confronted her in front of me for not charging me for the sauce.
That was disappointing for a few reasons:
If a customer is spending money on a meal, one sauce shouldn’t be treated like a major loss.
Correcting or disciplining an employee should never happen in front of a customer. It’s unprofessional and undermines the employee.
Charging for basic sauces in the first place feels excessive, especially when the app doesn’t even provide an option to add it during checkout.
The employee did exactly what good customer service looks like — she solved a simple problem quickly and politely. The manager’s reaction was unnecessary and poorly handled.
I hope leadership recognizes employees who try to do right by customers, instead of discouraging them.

The people were so nice here. My food took extra long and I was going to cancel my order, but I wasnt mad. They surprised me with the kindness that I didn’t expect – and the food tasted even better because of it! They had no idea who i was or how bad of a day I’d had… there are angels working here.

9-18-19 Wednesday. The lady at the register was very nice. The location was clean even in the restroom. The food was disappointing. The spicy chicken burger /meal/ the chicken was hard as seen in video. The frosty was the only good thing we received. So one star for the polite lady at the register and one star for the restaurant being clean. I would not return to this location.

If I could give – stars I would. I will never be back at the Thomas Road location again! My wife and I walked into the establishment. There was no one at the counter to take our order. After about 5 minute a woman appeared and gave us a “go to hades ” look. She didn’t say high, I’ll be right with you, kiss my butt. Nothing just that look. I turned to my wife and we both at the same time said let’s go. So we left and wound up at Freddy’s. This was a great decision. They were awesome at FREDDY’S!! I refuse to pay my hard earned money especially in today’s economy at a place like this. I am frankly tired of paying premium prices for the same food and subpar service. Good Luck Thomas Road Wendy’s. I wish you well!!

Literally received uncooked fries, cold burgers and nuggets. CAME BACK!! They had remade my order when I got off the phone with the manager and since it was after 9 when I arrived back. I had to wait in drive thru. So my order got handed to me Luke Warm! I called you on a cold order came back for a replacement and you make it as soon as we get off the phone knowing it’s going to have to sit till I arrive? Then I get stuck in drive thru for 15 minutes on top of it bc the drive thru had 4 cars proceeded on the right before getting to the ones on the left?!?

I don’t know what this evening crew has going on in West Monroe but it’s a disgrace the food that’s being served there! The burger I ordered wasn’t correct and tasted like it’s three hours old! Stone cold! Dr. Pepper watered down!

The dining room is routinely locked at 9:30pm if not sooner on weeknights, although it is advertised as open until 10 PM on two occasions, I’ve had employees stare at me through the glass door with no response neither unlocking the door nor providing an explanation for the mixup

My husband ordered ‘regular’ hamburger with no ketchup. He always stresses ‘no ketchup’ because he can’t stand ketchup. I said I would have the same. Both burgers had a load of ketchup, two pickles and cheese. I said these look like the dollar menu burgers at McDonalds. They had given us junior burgers and they were disgusting. We will not be going back to this store.
