We had a great experience here. It’s a busy restaurant, but that’s to be expected for how great the food is. The Caesar salad is made fresh and in house, which was a cool experience being able to watch them make it. Food was excellent, and the moscato was amazing! Also, they offer to call taxi’s for you as well, which is extremely convenient!

Excellent environment in an old historic building with beautiful stonework and artwork, friendly service, great menu choices and really delicious food at affordable prices! Absolutely recommend the Caesar salad and the bananas Foster; other than being absolutely delicious the experience is worth it. Don’t skip escargot either. Probably one of my favorite restaurants on Island , on repeat.

What a beautiful place. This is really an artistic and unique place. Very impressed by the artwork.
We made reservations and were seated fairly quickly. Roughly 10-12 mins passed before we were acknowledged again. Placed us at a table by a wall that vibrated every time the door opened and closed.
We did flag down our waiter. He was very nice and helpful. We ordered calamari and a bottle of $150 wine. He opened and poured it then corked it for our table. Small error, but he’s probably new. Calamari was light and fresh. With a red sauce. Dinner arrived. Carbonara was swimming in a cream white sauce with some bacon spread in the middle. I was concerned when I saw fettuccine Alfredo on the menu. Usually a sign of not authentic Italian. We were correct. No carbonara should ever be fettuccine and in a soupy white cheese sauce. Clams and pasta with a red sauce was reasonable but not memorable. Service was a solid 6 out of 10 and food not much better. Wouldn’t go back but I hope they use this review to improve since it’s a really nice restaurant based on the ambiance.

We dined at Virgilio’s Cuisine during our honeymoon and had a wonderful experience from start to finish. The atmosphere is intimate and welcoming, perfect for a special occasion, and the service was attentive without feeling intrusive. Every dish was thoughtfully prepared, beautifully presented, and full of flavor, with clear care given to quality ingredients and execution. The pacing of the meal allowed us to relax and truly enjoy the experience, and the wine and cocktail selections paired well with the food. Virgilio’s Cuisine felt special, memorable, and well worth the visit, making it an easy recommendation for anyone looking for an elevated yet comfortable dining experience.

The food was ok, we were not impressed. I got the pollo parmigiana which was a small, thin piece of chicken and the amount of pasta was very little. The other person in my party wasn’t thrilled with the steak and said it was very bland.
The other server’s seemed happy to be there and gave great service to the people around us. Our server in particular was quite rude to us, or was having a bad day. They never checked back how our meal was, if we needed a refill on our drinks, wanted parmigiana cheese. I was being kind and thanked the server and said everything was great even though it wasn’t. They dropped the check and didn’t even reply with a thank you or good night.
I’m not saying do not come here, but we left disappointed and was the dinner experience we liked the least on this trip.

This is a quaint Italian restaurant on a back street in Charlotte Amalie.
We were eating early so it was pretty quiet. It was beginning to fill up as we were leaving.
The staff were all friendly and professional.
The food was fabulous.
We started with a shared Caesar Salad, which is prepared tableside.
Just watching the preparation was fun. What was even better was the taste. So fresh & flavorful.
My wife and I both loved it. We also shared Prosciutto & Melon. Again, fresh & really tasty.
For an entree, I had Veal Osso Bucco, which was fall off the bone tender and delicious. One of the best I’ve had. My wife had Lasagna & was equally happy with it.
We had the house specialty, Bananas Foster for dessert. This also prepared tableside, which is pretty spectacular when the brandy is set alight. It was served over vanilla Ice Cream. So good.
Definitely go back if in Charlotte Amalie again.

We were sent here on the recommendation from a bartender and I am so glad we listened. This place is amazing. From the attentive staff, to the fresh food, the art pieces and table side bananas foster. It was all perfect. Yes, it’s pricey but you get what you pay for and it was worth every penny. The restaurant was filled with large parties but we never felt neglected because there was only two of us. The food was to die for. We started with the table side Cesar salad, hands down best I have ever had. We will definitely be eating here again when we return to the island.

We stopped in for lunch while touring Charolette Amalie. This is a very traditional Italian restaurant decorated with local art. The food and service were both outstanding. Understand reservations are required for dinner, but lunch on a weekday was not crowded.

Consistently delicious with incredible service and an intimate atmosphere. We return for girl’s nights, date nights, birthdays, and just an excuse to eat delicious Italian food. The table-side Caesar is delicious and fun to watch, the pastas and entrees are always delicious, and the espresso martinis and tiramisu are my favorite after dinner treats on island.
They also make you feel super special for birthdays, with a big sparkler and music, the whole restaurant seems to chime in to celebrate with you.
