I can only describe this experience as deeply disappointing. We often visit Boiling Springs to enjoy the lake and walking through town. Sometimes we walk into the restaurant and order coffee and pastries before heading out of the town. Until now, those visits have always been pleasant.

Last Sunday, we ordered coffee and muffins to go. As soon as we got into the car, my wife opened the container, and what we saw was disheartening, as shown in the picture. At first, I gave them the benefit of the doubt and assumed it was simply a mistake. I went back to show the person who had served us, hoping for understanding.

Unfortunately, the response I received was even more upsetting. While the order was eventually replaced, it was done in a way that felt cold and dismissive, almost as if our concern was an inconvenience rather than a valid issue.

When a business fails to take pride in the quality of what it serves, it inevitably sends the message that it does not truly value its customers or itself. I have always associated Boiling Springs with positive memories, but this experience has left me saddened. What was once a place I enjoyed visiting now carries a sense of disappointment, and passing through Boiling Springs will no longer feel the same.

Food is very good, had chicken fajitas, sometimes burritos, and there is another dish with carrots and potatoes and chicken in a tortilla that is very good. Across the street is the Children’s Lake, with beautiful ducks and geese. I like to feed them corn, you can buy bags of corn that is prepared for the ducks, at the convenience store across the street from the cafe. There is a sign on the opposite side of the lake that tells what types of food the ducks can eat. Bread is not on the list. There are benches around the lake and it is very peaceful. On nice days you can sit outside to eat at the cafe.

Nice little place by the lake. Food was okay, but pricy for the portion size. Service was a bit slow. Very, very loud in the indoor seating area. Will give dinner a try at some point.

What an awesome place in the center of Boiling Springs! They cater to AT hikers with delicious breakfast and lunch options. We enjoyed the coffees, as well as the hearty sandwiches. You can sit on the outside patio or inside the Cafe. Delightfully friendly service just a short walk from the AT with plenty of parking available.

We stopped in for lunch on a Monday. There was no wait for a table but it filled up quickly. It’s a small place but there is some outdoor patio seating. We ordered the ultimate bowl and a shrimp quesadilla. Both were very good. Our server was friendly and attentive. A nice view of the lake when you are finished eating or while you eat if you sit outside. I had been here once before, probably about a year ago, for a dinner meeting and had tacos – they were good as well. I’d for sure go here again.

Have only ordered dinner for take out. The Mexican entrees are all great. They taste great and are a generous portion. However, we got the kids mac and cheese for the first time and it was just some boxed Kraft with chips and a pickle for $8.50. If I had known, we would have made our own box of Kraft while I was picking up our order.

Get dinner, just not the kids menu.

Wasn’t too thrilled about this place but not terrible. Average. I would come back again to give them another shot. I’ve had their breakfast and lunch before. Breakfast being better. Just had lunch here. Ordered a caesar salad with my quesadilla but brought me a garden salad. Thinking portions can be better since I’m paying 16 dollars for a quesadilla

Decent experience but not what I had expected. They serve Mexican food, tastes very authentic. BYOB, bring your own beer is optional…they don’t serve alcohol. They serve very good coffee I recommend the vanilla ice latte. They were pretty busy and the service lacks due to this. Took awhile to get our food as well. Price online menu shows isn’t correct, prices are higher here like they are everywhere else. Laid back, nice place to take your family to for a bite to eat.

This latin flavored eatery and coffee shop has indoor and outdoor seating, a large menu, and excellent service. We went with the roast beef and blue cheese sandwich, and a chicken salad. Both were excellent, with fresh ingredients cooked to order. The food was outstanding and the location had a definite hang out vibe that relaxed you soon after entry. This place is great.

Hand crafted coffee and espresso drinks. I had an excellent breakfast sandwich. Enjoyable breakfast with my wife. Went early and service was a little slow but it didn’t take away from the experience
