My lovely wife Pat and I celebrated our 39th wedding anniversary dinner this wonderful night. Recommended by our hotel clerk, when asked for a fine seafood restaurant, we anxiously followed through on his suggestion.
We were welcomed upon entering the restaurant from the main buildings indoor market place. When this host suggested our eating within their heated outdoor patio which is completely encased in glass we proceeded to take the staircase to the beautiful seating down below. Even more encouraging when she let us know we’d be able to exit the building from our tables seating area downstairs. It was only about a seven minute walk to our parked vehicle along the oceanfronts free parking lot.
Waiter was kind, experienced and pleasantly outgoing.
Both Pat and I enjoyed our meals eating them almost entirely (Pat did, I didn’t). Only complaint was that I had just a bit too many of their tastey fries to complete entirely.
Overall, great nights experience for our 39th anniversary.

Grannan’s Seafood was our first meal in Canada, and it did not disappoint! My sister had the Maple Chicken Curry Pasta, which she compared to a type of marsala, and she loved it! I enjoyed the Atlantic Chowder, and we split an order of poutine fries, because of course! The atmosphere was quiet and relaxing, and our server was cheerful and courteous. We were thankful to find them still open that late in the evening. I’m not sure what it was about Canada, but everywhere we went, we were roasting because the interiors were kept so warm. It’s rather shocking we would find it so hot, being as we’re from Arizona!

We had our first meal to our visit here. I ordered the mussels garlic and butter mussels 1lbs $21 and my husband ordered the fish and chips $21 we added a second peace for $8. It was good. We did hard to wait a couple minutes for our table but then services was good. We sat on their outdoor glass patio.

Great waitress who made sure our drinks were topped up. Great view. The frites aren’t so great and the striploin was gristly and the baby potatoes were hard. For a classy meal it could have been better. Coconut shrimp was good, great dips. Spin dip was good.

My partner and I went for Valentine’s supper. We made online reservations for 8pm and when we got there the hostess was unaware of our reservation. She then told us to go downstairs and find an empty table to sit at. We went downstairs to the heated glass area, which was a beautiful space, and sat down at a dirty table. The server came over to greet us after about 10 minutes and was confused how we got here. I explained to her the host upstairs sent us and she was still confused. Nonetheless, she brought us water and gave us our menus. Most of the items we wanted to order were sold out—very busy holiday, we completely understood. Our food took an hour and a half, both of my glasses of water had mysterious floating gunk in it, and finally got a clean water at the end of my meal. I had to ask for condiments multiple times (salt, pepper, ketchup) and for the whole experience, $81 for waters, fish and chips, and half a lobster dinner (the greens were wilted) was not worth it. Maybe would’ve had better food and service on a regular night but for our first time coming, it may as well be our last.

I can’t say enough about this place. We were looking for good seafood and this place didn’t disappoint. The selection of menu items was excellent, and so was the service. We sat in a glass enclosed patio, which gave us a nice view of the surrounding area. There is also outdoor seating available. This place is located very near the wharf but doesn’t have great views of the harbor. From what I could tell, this is a very popular place. The prices are reasonable and typical of what you would spend for fresh seafood. Our server was very nice and attentive and was of great assistance in helping find a place to view the tides. The place is located along the path that wraps around part of the harbor. This allowed us to easily walk from our hotel.

Loved the food here! I had the taste of the coconut shrimps, the stuffed mushrooms with lobster, and the mussels with pesto. All super delicious and tasty meals. The only downside I can think of with the food is that the coconut shrimpd were too pricey just for 6 or 8 shrimps.
The service was very good. Our waitress Britney (or Courtney, sorry I forgot her name ) really took the time to chat with us gave us really good recommendations for the dishes. I also like the covered and heated patio where we can eat.
Overall, it was a wonderful experience here and will definitely come back

Great lunch spot! Nice views of downtown. Classic pub style food with a few twists. The menu celebrates local seafood. We ordered from the lunch menu which presumably has smaller portions. Everything was tasty and good value for money on the lunch menu. I had the fist and chips (the fish was a bit dry and the batter lacked flavour and was also dry, fries were yummy and so was the homemade tartar sauce), my friends had the lunch lobster roll and the curry pasta and they were happy with their meals. Service was prompt. Overall a good experience.

We were driving through Saint John on our way to the ferry and stopped in for seafood. We got the seafood bucket and it was great but Justine made our dinner the best. She was incredible. They’re lucky to have her… she made our evening incredible. Thanks Justine!

I’d like to give this 4.5 stars, but rounded to 4. Most of the food was good, including the haddock fish sandwich and the fish and chips, but the seafood chowder was pretty gelatinous and bland. Staff was friendly and food came pretty promptly.
The only standout was the lobster bisque. That got rave reviews.
It was an acceptable place, but didn’t really distinguish itself enough to rate 5 stars.
