We have been here a couple of times. Both times the drinks were incredible – strong and great tasting! The sauce on the enchiladas verde was so good I would have used it as a dip. Great other dishes as well! The habanero shrimp was overcooked and not at all spicy, but everything else has been fantastic.

This place is wonderful! First time visiting and my husband had the grande burrito, I had the salmon and both dishes were so good! We’ve been looking for a great Mexican food restaurant and we are thrilled to have found this place. It’s regional cuisine from Oaxaca Mexico which makes it even more authentic. The environment was a friendly and our server Evelyn was adorable and so attentive and sweet. We will definitely return! Chips and salsa were so good too!!

The service was flawless. The staff assisted each other as needed. They genuinely seemed happy to be serving.
The food came a lot quicker than we anticipated but that was OK. The food was good. The fajita steak could have been a bit more tender. It had great flavor and I would order it again. They were $18.
The salsa was full of flavor and not too spicy.

Had a great lunch experience for our first time here at Mi Casa. Food was awesome and the service was amazing. Love the chips and salsa. That’s a good sign the food is going to be good. Had the Fajitas Waxahachie and my wife had the Salmon Huatulco.

Mexican cuisine in Waxahachie never disappoints. The food was fresh, flavorful, and cooked just right. The tacos were seasoned well, the rice and beans were on point, and the salsa had a nice kick. Service was friendly and the atmosphere made it feel welcoming. Definitely a great spot if you’re craving good Mexican food.”

This review would be five stars, except that when paying for the upgraded “top shelf margarita on the rocks“ the glass was quite small, and was filled to the brim with ice. I would say that it was half full of the actual drink at best… other than that, everything else was great!
I had the carne asada, and it did not disappoint! Tender, juicy, and full of flavor. The rice and beans were awesome, and even the free salsa was so tasty everyone at our table commented on it!
It’s worth a stop if you’re in the area and hankering for Mexican or Tex-Mex!

The food was very good. The chips were hot, thin, and crispy, just like I like them. The salsa was good and chunky. I ordered the tacos al carbon (one in flour and the other in corn tortilla). The corn tortillas were better than the flour. My mom had grilled fish with grilled vegetables and she said it was delicious. The staff was upbeat, friendly, and very efficient. I would like to come back and try out the beautiful rooftop patio and have some drinks. They had a fully stocked bar!

We stopped in with friends for lunch. This is a nice and clean place. The staff was very nice. The purpose of reviewing a restaurant is about 60% about the food. The food was ok (average). Nothing exceptional. The quanity was average. This is why we rate it as average. We would probably come back for lunch again. But we would probably try other restaurants in the area before deciding which ones have that something special to draws us back again and again.
