My mother and I stopped here for lunch on our way to the coast. It was an unassuming tucked away spot but turned out great! The food was delicious and ready so quickly, very attentive service. The lunch special is affordable and you have tons of options. Fun decor and good outdoor seating that kept cool in the heat. The gnats were annoying but to be expected outside. They might do well with some mesh to prevent it. Great chips and house margaritas. My taco and enchilada combo hit the spot and mom enjoyed her fajita plate.

Will not disappoint. Staff is friendly, quick to seat you. (I visited, 07/22/25; 1830ish) Food was delicious. I sat at the bar, solo and enjoyed the overall atmosphere. I was very skeptical for weeks: im staying at the holiday inn nearby and 5/7 days of the week at least i see this place BUSY. I had a great experience, they have a lot of foot traffic, speaks for itself. I will be stopping by soon! I paid $50 including tip for: 1-Huge Mug of MODELO, 1-Pint sized Modelo, 1-Ceviche. Not bad!

I go in here all the time with my boyfriend and it’s our favorite place to eat ! All of the staff are so sweet, hardworking, and immediately get you taken care of. My food is always PERFECT… I recommend the steak fajita bowl (it’s all I ever get!). They do their best to make you feel at home! I’m so glad this restaurant exists :)! Only thing I’d mention is that during their busy times it’s hard to find a parking space (completely out of restaurants control), but honestly it’s worth the hassle lol! They are busy for a reason 🙂

After 9 hours of driving we wanted good food and didn’t want to wait on a Saturday night at 6:30pm. We were not disappointed! Chicken quesadillas and taco salad with cold beer hit the spot. You need to give this place a try!

I quit going to the El Tap in Raleigh because the customer service is horrible. However, this location is the total opposite. The food is just as good, and the customer service is great. The only thing better in Raleigh are the margaritas, but the RM location’s drinks are good.
