1st time and we went for brunch on New Year’s Day! There was a wait but the wait is well worth it. Nothing spectacular about the decor or ambience. Service was immaculate our server Sebastian did an awesome job despite how busy they were. We did not feel rushed at all. Food came out fast and hot! Every plate on the table was delicious The pancakes are to die for and they are huge!!! One suggestion would be to serve the syrup warm. We ordered:
– Big Foot Country Fried Steak
– The Grizz
– Bacon Benedict Avocado

Great service with a fun and attentive server. He was very personable and didnt mind conversing with the kiddo. Great food. It came out super fast but was still fresh. The kids meal was huge and inexpensive. I e pancake side was almost $7 but was also very large.

We received Excellent food and service. Our server Karissa, was pleasantly courteous and provided us with food and drink recommendations. The wait times were a bit heavy at 45 minutes on a weekday and around 10:30 am which we were made aware of upon our arrival. We hope to be back soon!

This place is awesome!!!! Matthew the server was extremely helpful. We chose two turkey dinners, one turkey sandwich combo and a sweet French Toast Combo. He explained that after 4pm they give a free pancake. There is good music from a colorful Jukebox and all the employees including the manager are all friendly and ready to serve you. This was our first experience dining at this restaurant. We will continue to stop by and have another great meal and make more memories.

Overall the food was ok. The fish, chicken fried steak and the hush puppies were all over fried.the manager said that the way they make them?? And refused to give us new one? I have been to other black bears and it was fantastic. Oh well I guess the fish fry is out.

Best country breakfast in El Paso! I had the “Bear’s Choice” with 2 eggs, 2 biscuits (big & fluffy) with gravy on the side, and upgraded for the spicy sausage patties (amazing) for $12.98. Hubby had “The Grizz” with 3 eggs, 2 bacon, 2 sausage links, 1 ham (so good), side choice of hashbrowns, and 2 pancakes (must try!) for $15.99. There was a 1hr wait, but we skipped the line by eating at the counter. Friendly attentive service. Good hot coffee and try the fresh squeeze orange juice, it’s delicious.

Went here for breakfast and had a good experience overall. The place was pretty full, but our food still came out quickly. The service was friendly and attentive, and the portions were generous. Everything we ordered tasted great, and it really hit the spot for a hearty breakfast.

The only downside was that the coffee was a bit on the harsh side for me, but it wasn’t a dealbreaker.

Finally made it to BBD. EZ Loop 375 roadway and level parking / ♿️ access. Arrived noonish. Promptly, warm greeting and 10min waitlist in mini lobby. 4 person seating overall. Newspaper style menus for EZ take-home and study before next visit. Ask for Andy. He was great and very focused on special accommodations for food allergy request. Mostly traditional all American food style. We had Blue Cheese 1/3lb thick bacon burger, a TriTip (French dip variation) w sweet potato fries. Burger was perfect. And TT 100% devoured. A few pics now. More to follow.
Ask for Andy. Tell him Roberto sent you.
