I stopped into this little place I’ve passed by 100s of times as I was waiting for my front end alignment around the corner. It was a bright to clean, friendly setting. I ordered a southwestern omelette and added sausage, bacon, and jalapenos with a side of hash browns and a bottle of Coke… The Tabasco sauce was already on the table! It was great all the way through. It was served hot and everything seemed very fresh. The menu was extensive as the Mexican restaurant is a part of this diner. The service was good and the other patrons seemed pleased. I am happy to recommend this place whether you’re by yourself or with a party… There’s plenty of seating. Thank you for a memorable meal.

This was my second visit and just like first visit for lunch, breakfast today was awesome. Pancakes taste homemade. The biscuit and sausage gravy was excellent. The eggs were cooked perfect. Over medium can be a challenge for some but these were awesome. The atmosphere is 50’s style dining. But what a lot of people don’t know is the Sparky’s is part of the Mexican side and the grocery store. All same awesome people. I recommend this place to all ages.

Oh man the food is so good. Way better than los senorita by the hill real Mexican food breakfast is amazing as well very well priced most dishes are like 10 bucks even the steak and egg breakfast with hashbrowns this is my favorite place in all of traverse city. I mean you cant beat getting real authentic Mexican food in a america dinner style restaurant you got pictures of Elvis on the wall the Beatles marilyn monroe hot wheals I mean this place is awsome .

I was visiting family in the U.P. couple weeks ago we came to Costco one afternoon and decided to stop in for brunch/lunch. Its the first time in long time i had good Mexican enchiladas. Not tex -mex like here in Florida. My grandma said one of the best omlettes she’s ever had. The price phenomenonal for diner food compared to florida. Next time im visiting ill make a trip over.

Sparky’s Diner is awesome like a blast into the past. They treat you like family and the food is prepared just the way you want. They have all the classic selections of breakfast and lunch and you will not be disappointed. It’s hidden away hard to find but once you find it you will come back. This was our first time here and it’s like they have known us forever. Not too many places are like that. Update 3/25/23 they have new owners and the Mexican food is delicious. Reminds me of my time in Mexico. The tacos, burritos are definitely the best in town. It’s more popular now for good reason. Just had another great meal yesterday(4-24-23). The chicken combo plate and a wet beef burrito. Delicious and great service from Harold as usual.

It doesn’t look like much from the outside but the food is great! I went with my mom and sister who only like very traditional American food. My mom had a chicken wrap and my sister had a grilled ham & cheese on sourdough with fries. They were all very good and the fries were dynamite!!
I prefer food with lots of flavor and half of this restaurant’s menu is Mexican, authentic Mexican. I had chilaquiles with eggs and beans – they were awesome! 3 different salsas were offered so you can get whatever level of spice you want. I am definitely going back!

I didn’t know TC Latino had taken over or I may not have come since I don’t like their other restaurant. Ingredients Matter! Charging gourmet prices for sub par food. Sliced processed cheese on the omelette. Frozen green peppers and onions in the inside instead of fresh. Pre cooked sausage links..not ever again. I could have gotten this quality from Burger King…And the places was freezing cold. Can you afford heat?
