Lunch and dinner share the same menu and feature sandwiches such as a Slow-Cooked Berkshire Pork, BLT with Avocado, Prosciutto with House-Made Mozzarella and Chicken and Brie. Carmel Belle is also a draw for vegan diners with its breakfast Tofu Scramble, 100% plant-based sandwiches, and large array of salads. Found this little cafe restaurant in the interior walkways of Carmel while browsing the shops and looking for a place to stop to eat. Carmel Belle had a large variety menu to choose from. We ordered to very different styles of food, more like a lunch and dinner plates, between my spouse and I. We had the BLT and grilled salmon. I was assured salmon would not disappoint even with a very busy Saturday lunch rush, and not the regular restaurant that would serve salmon. This place was terrific! The owners are wonderful people and waiters are polite and helpful! We look forward to stopping by here again on our travels! Thanks Carmel Belle.

The first time, I got an almond milk cappuccino, an Apple Jack (I love the juice), vegan tofu scramble, and my husband had the veggie sandwich. The second time, I went for a vegan croissant and tiramisu take out. It’d be great if they had more vegan options.
I’m giving the food a 3/5 because the flavor is just… bland. No seasoning at all. My tofu scramble was dull, and my husband’s sandwich barely had any taste. They really need to improve the flavor.

Quick cafe, crafted sandwich recipes. Philly cheese sandwhich was tiny, Brie and chicken was better sized with half melted cheese. Both meals served with a fresh side salad including cucumbers. Over all this was the quick and cheap deli stop we had planned on in the shopping center.

Stumbled upon Carmel Belle during a torrential downpour in Carmel, and wow, what a delightful surprise! The cafe vibe is cozy and inviting, perfect for escaping the rain. The food? Absolutely delicious with excellent choices, and the tofu scramble is a must-try—just brilliant. Prices are quite reasonable for Carmel too. The service is great; though they’re always busy, everyone is super friendly. The only snag is the seating—it’s a bit of a scramble since it’s free for all once you order. Might have to wait a bit, but it’s totally worth it! ️

My husband and I while walking around town on our vacation saw this place and thought that this was a very nice place for brunch. It was quaint and cozy inside one of the alleys downtown Carmel. It even had a fire pit that was on for cooler weather. You just order in the counter and you’re given a number and just sit anywhere. The strawberry infused water is self served in Mason glasses. My husband had the hot sandwich mushroom and brie and a latte and I opted for the cold chicken avocado salad sandwich. They were both served with a little side salad of urugula and they were both good, fresh and satisfying. The service was fast and courteous.
The atmosphere was so warm and people seem to be so cordial with each other. Overall we had a great experience.
