Best baleada I’ve ever had! The pupusa was also really good, and everything we tried was seasoned to perfection. The food was amazing, the staff was friendly and I will be making extra trips to Louisville just to go back. I’m so glad we just happened upon this place. It’s small, cozy and very cute. This is not a big chain place or anything, but if you like great food, this place is definitely worth a visit!

Good food, but service is a little off. They didn’t realize we spoke a little Spanish and could hear them making fun of us. Nothing that bad, but it was clear the server had an attitude about her. Couldn’t even bring her self to say your welcome.
Also didn’t see a health inspection anywhere. By the looks of the place and based of the workers, gonna go on a limb and say they haven’t gotten one.

All of the food was amazing – not a single let down, the service was excellent and I would recommend checking this out if you like South American food at all! Go on Saturday morning and get a bunch of Tamales and creamy salsa verde. So good. I’ve had the baliadas too, was excellent. Authentic Honduran food. I totally recommend.

The wait can be a little long but that’s because Its a good ole whole in the wall that stays busy. Its a yummy mix of Cuban and Salvadorian cuisine. Foods like tacos derados and fried plantains are served. I started going there for their pupusas. The portions are decent and made ready to order. When I went, it was a Friday, the kitchen staff had music playing and a lot of folks were just getting off of work. There’s a decent amount of seating for family or a work group. If you go with a Spanish speaking friend or can speak it, even better.

This is the only Salvadoran restaurant in Louisville that I know of and it’s a great hidden gem! Their menu is on the smaller side, but everything on it sounds great. The tacos dorados are fried taquitos and the pupusas are essentially tortillas stuffed with meat. The food tastes great and is relatively inexpensive for the portion sizes. While I don’t think they serve alcohol, they have various bottled soft drinks and juices. It’s worth a try!

We shared several dishes. The Baleada ($6) had delicious avocado and toppings, but the meat was not great. The tostadas ($9) were the absolute best! The chicken tamelle ($2.75) was kind of doughie and was the only thing left uneaten and the plantanos ($2) were a delicious dessert like little side dish. Communication was difficult, but we managed. They charged for an extra large drink ($6) we didn’t get, but they were friendly and fixed it. If they didn’t use Styrofoam cups, I’d be happier
