The Getaway is a large bar with plenty of seating. I rated the food 5 stars, with the caveat of they only serve bar food, however I’ve never had bad food from them and actually recommend the fish. There are tables to sit away from the bar if thats your thing. The regulars are very inviting and friendly, truly a melting pot of individuals. The have a very well maintained Diamond pool table the sees a lot of play time. There is an outdoor seating area that is also in the process of being updated. I cannot recommend this bar enough, especially if a laid back and friendly atmosphere is what you are seeking.

Wow, who would of thought, I drive by this place for decades. Open, clean welcoming. Good parking. Thank you to Blue Butts Colon cancer run for turning us on to this local encouraging stomping ground. Friendly staff and patrons. For those with step issues, go in the back door by picnic tables. Easy access.

Always a must stop when I am in town. Nice bar to “Get away” from your typical bigger sports bar. Bartenders are all very nice as well as the people. I will always stop in and enjoy the atmosphere.
