The taste was excellent and some of the best in the area, but loses 2 stars for value, due to portions for the price. I really wanted to give 5 stars, but I just couldn’t due to still being somewhat hungry after spending $16+

This used to be my favorite place and some of the best tacos in reno. But lately the quality has been horrible. The amount of onions in the tacos were disgusting I couldn’t even enjoy it. They never used to put raw onions they were grilled. They weren’t even cut evenly. Who wants long crunchy raw onions in their tacos?? Maybe if they were ground beef tacos but I don’t come to Mexican restaurants for something I can chop up in my kitchen.

I ordered two family packs of tacos for a party that fed 8-10 people the food was phenomenal. So delicious! I will definitely order for events from them in the future. It included rice, bean, tortillas, grilled jalapeños and onions, fresh salsa and cilantro. Highly recommend.

Wanted to wait a while and confirm this..but I think they discriminate against certain populations. Every time I’ve ordered steak(asada) they’ve given me pork. Multiple times now this has happened. I finally tested my theory to see if they would do the same to my acquaintance who does not look like me and the results are telling, but I’m not surprised. Good food but definitely have a bias.

This place is a hidden gem, the food, service and locations was great!
The cell phone service is not great here but, I love the fact that they provide games to play while you wait for your food. My family and I played uno which we love while we waited for our food.
As you can see in the photos the food was just what you would expect from a Mexican restaurant, the flavors were phenomenal I highly recommend checking out this spot if your either local or just visiting.

This place has a good atmosphere with amazing service but unfortunately the food wasn’t that great. My tacos were ok but the burrito didn’t come with asada(grilled steak) but instead came with shredded beef which was extremely greasy. This review is strictly on the food

We are SO grateful we found Cielito Lindo for our wedding weekend catering. From start to finish, Eddie was an absolute joy to work with… communicative, flexible, and one of the nicest people you’ll ever meet. We take our Mexican food seriously (my husband’s family is from Guadalajara), so before booking we wanted to taste everything. Eddie invited us to the taqueria for a tasting, and wow… every single bite was incredible. We originally planned to serve just two meats at our welcome buffet, but everything was so delicious we couldn’t narrow it down — we ended up offering four!
Throughout the planning process, Eddie let us fully customize our menus, and his team executed everything perfectly. At our welcome dinner, they arrived on time, were so professional and kind, and the food was an absolute hit. Guests RAVED about it, so much so that many went back for seconds and thirds. The batched margaritas and palomas they made were equally amazing: fresh, flavorful, and such a fun addition.
For our farewell brunch the day after the wedding, we wanted something casual and easy for guests to grab before heading out. Eddie delivered breakfast burritos that we also got to customize, nearly a dozen different varieties! They were hot, fresh, tasty, and such a huge crowd-pleaser that guests were grabbing extras to take on the road.

Generally this location is delicious, quesabirria taco combo was filling! Lots of my friends recommended this restaurant but unfortunately it isn’t one of my favorites. It’s best if you’re in a rush to get some birria on the go. But definitely worth a try, horchata was alright. Friendly staff by far. (Unfortunately I cannot handle spicy)
