Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Burger was meh.
Not bad. Not hype worthy.
Fries were mediocre as well.
Service practically non-existent. You order yourself by kiosk, take a number, and eventually someone brings your order and barley acknowledges you.
Not a bad burger, but not something I’ll seek out.

ABSOLUTELY GROSS!!!! Ordered a Cobb salad without bacon “pork”. They made the salad incorrectly, so I went inside to inform them and get it remade. The two girls take the salad that had pork throughout it and proceed to dig and finger through my food together. The girls then attempt to give me the salad back and say it was fixed. I explained that I desired a refund after watching them fondle my food and dig through it. The girl that had the salad in hand, turned around as I was asking for a refund and walked away. Another lady then walks up, and I ask her if she’s the manager, she says yes and walks away. Finally, the actual manager walks up and provides refund with subpar customer service. This type of customer service shouldn’t happen, especially when you have a respectful customer. Hope that she actually trains them as she stated she would, because it was nasty.

Was excited to check out Whataburger. Haven’t had some since my last visit to Texas. Went to the drive through. Someone took my order. Waited in line for 10 minutes. Pulled up to the window. They didn’t have my order. They weren’t sure as to who took my order or what happened.

This location has one of the best staffs. The cashier Skylar always makes sure my friends and myself feel welcome every time we walk in. The restaurant is spotless, bathroom is clean. The food is always top notch.

The wait times are extremely long on a consistent bases, despite there being no customers. There is never anyone working the front cash register as well. The food is decent but they really need to improve the service.

BEST. WHATABURGER. EXPERIENCE. EVER.

I just had the most amazing customer service experience at Whataburger, and I HAD to share it. I went in with my mom and little sister, and from the moment we walked in, we could immediately tell this was going to be different in the best possible way.

The restaurant was so clean and welcoming, and right at the front, we were greeted by Kyun, the sweetest and most professional cashier we’ve ever met. Kyun didn’t just take our order, he gave us the VIP treatment! He told us all about the cups, let us grab as many as we needed, and even gave us a pro-tip: buying them for just $0.50 is a better deal when you’re substituting with the meal. (Love a good hack! )

He also let us know that Christmas-themed cups are coming soon which got us even more excited! Talk about being thoughtful and engaging! He was so patient with us and made sure everything we ordered was spot-on.

And the service didn’t stop there, he asked if we needed sauce and napkins, AND even gave us a bag just for our cups. Literally every detail was handled with care.

Then get this we got our hot, fresh food in less than FIVE minutes! Like, are you serious?! That’s unheard of these days. And to top it all off, every single employee we interacted with was friendly, respectful, and just created this peaceful, positive atmosphere that made our day.

Honestly, this was hands-down the BEST customer service I’ve ever had at a fast food restaurant, and probably anywhere. I’m still blown away.

We live near another Whataburger that’s the complete opposite: long waits, not so great service and this experience was just a night and day difference. I’m so grateful we decided to stop in, because it truly made our day.

Thank you, Kyun, and thank you to the amazing team at Whataburger, you guys crushed it!! We’ll definitely be back!

I normally do not give a review and complain but try to find the positive in the visit no matter what. BUT this time is the exception. The food was not good and about an hour after we ate we both got sick to our stomach’s. The Fries were not crispy, nor were they hot. Then let’s talk about the flat, sloppy, poorly wrapped, and unappealing Burgers. I was almost tempted to throw it away and not eat it BUT decided to eat it anyway. Like I said… mistake and made us sick to our stomach. Look at the Pic of the Burger. Oh yea… that was when I flipped it over and had to wipe the smeared Mayo and Ketchup from the wrapper. It was upside down and the Buns were pressed FLAT and falling apart. Absolutely Disgusting.

This store was closing early due to the weather but did not bother to tell me otherwise we would have gone somewhere else. They closed at 6 . According to the website they are closed temporarily. Maybe they should close permanently, the food was terrible the bacon on my grandson sandwich was horrible,,the sandwiches were not hot, the fries were warm but not what I am used to at Whataburger, they were too interested in closing up . We were the only ones in there at the time, I am not impressed with this store plus it took forever for us to get our food. I am surprised that they didn’t run us out. I will not be back, this store is a disgrace to the Whataburger family of stores , save your money and stay out of this place. I am very disappointed. Whataburger should be ashamed. The reviews on this store are terrible and this is a fairly new store. Like I said Kennesaw has plenty of great restaurants go somewhere else.
